Hades was the ancient Greek god of the underworld. Eventually, the god's name came to designate the abode of the dead. In Greek mythology, Hades is the oldest male child of Cronus and Rhea considering the order of birth from the mother, or the youngest, considering the regurgitation by the father. The latter view is attested in Poseidon's speech in the Iliad.According to myth, he and his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated the Titans and claimed rulership over the cosmos, ruling the underworld, air, and sea, respectively; the solid earth, long the province of Gaia, was available to all three concurrently.
Later the Greeks started referring to the god as Plouton, which the Romans Latinized as Pluto. The Romans would associate Hades/Pluto with their own chthonic gods, Dis Pater and Orcus. The corresponding Etruscan god was Aita. He is often pictured with the three-headed dog Cerberus. In the later mythological tradition, though not in antiquity, he is associated with the Helm of Darkness and the bident. The term hades in Christian theology (and in New Testament Greek) is parallel to Hebrew sheol, and refers to the abode of the dead. The Christian concept of hell is more akin to and communicated by the Greek concept of Tartarus, a deep, gloomy part of hades used as a dungeon of torment and suffering.

Blight (Passive)
Hades' normal staff attacks apply a debuff to the enemy, called Blight. This debuff stays on the target for 5 seconds and can be refreshed. If an enemy is affected by Blight, each of Hades' other powers have an additional effect.
Death From Below (Skill Key 1)
Hades descends into the ground and erupts from below at his ground location, doing 50/90/130/170/210 (+70% of your magical power) magical damage to all enemies in the area.
If the enemy is Blighted, they are slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds. Applies Blight.
Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana.
Cooldown: 12 s.
Shroud of Darkness (Skill Key 2)
Hades silences all enemies in a cone in front of him for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s, increasing with Focus up to 2s.
If the enemy is Blighted, they are also feared. Consumes Blight.
Cost: 80 mana.
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 s.
Devour Souls (Skill Key 3)
Hades devours the souls of his enemies in a radius around him, doing 75/110/145/180/215 (+60% of your magical power) magical damage.
If the enemy is Blighted, the enemy explodes, doing 20/27/34/41/48 damage to nearby enemies and healing your allies for 30/40/50/60/70 within 20 feet of the exploding target. Consumes Blight.
Cost: 65/75/85/95/105 mana.
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 s.
Pillar of Agony (Skill Key 4 - Ultimate)
Hades calls to all enemy souls nearby, pulling them closer to him over time, doing 50/65/80/95/110 (+35% of your magical power) magical damage every .5 s for 4 s, additionally gaining 40/50/60/70/80 protection to all damage.
If the enemy is Blighted, their protections are reduced by 10/15/20/25/30 for 4s. Consumes Blight.
Cost: 100 mana.
Cooldown: 90 s.
