A few things before we start, my Hercules build is a win mid to late-game, so be careful about early. Hunters blessing is for conquest but optional for any other mode, it is used for the mp5 as well as increased basics since Hecules has weak mana regeneration hence the chalice and massive amount of potions (if barons brew is available, replace chalice).
This here is the first four items I build for Hercules when matched against physical Gods. Whether you're in solo in conquest, against two physicals in joust or just playing in siege or clash and need a strong offence. These items here are superb against both sides but focus on physical.
-The combo from the passive of Frostbound Hammer and the attack speed of Ninja Tabi makes for a deadly combo. Constantly refreshing the slow passive with the decent speed allows Hercules to decimate the enemy as they try to helplessly get away.
-Void Shields passive makes for dangerous offence while the item itself helps defence.

Bakasura is dangerous in an assassin's way meaning his basics and abilities are dangerous to an extent. His ability to run, heal and come back is obnoxious but not impossible to overcome. Bakasura's tend to be squishy and attempt to use surprise to attack, using their 1 to initiate. That is their downfall. When they lack their run away, that's when you kill them. Do not worry about their 3 and ultimate, a simple 3 from you will protect you and heal you whatever happens since the mitigation you receive will protect you from the true damage.

He Bo is dangerous but easily killed. His cooldown on his 1 and his run away on 2 will make him a difficult to kill God. A way to fight a He Bo is to save all your abilities but your 3 to outbox him and survive. You need to bring him to the point of retreating with his 2. Then you combo him with the classic 2, 1, ultimate. Other than that, distract He Bo from team fights so that your team can assist you in the matter.

Only one thing makes Olorun a threat, his ultimate. This God's ultimate slows Hercules animation rendering him useless and very vulnerable. Purification Beads are recommended but if you don't have the relic then hit your 3 and wait it out if you can't get out. Other than that he is easy to beat.

Hercules can fight off Loki's like a bug zapper versus a fly, the real matter is getting them. Well, the answer is a simple one, Mystical Mail. This item acts as an automatic radar for any invisible Loki (or any invisible God for that matter) close by which will allow you to act accordingly.

The reason for this being a threat is that Hercules tends to rely on the 2+1 combo to bring Gods to him for destruction, but even then Frostbound Hammer makes it difficult for them to get away. Hel can do so and turn on Hercules in a matter of seconds, dealing damage while sustaining herself.

Since Hercules is a pure bruiser with his abilities alone, one needs to deal more damage as well as take more hits. What makes Hercules a great God is that he is versatile with most reasonable item builds and can still control the field. With his self sustain and dealing major damage, he is perfect for aggressive plays.
Pros:
-Major bruiser
-Can outbox most Gods
-Amazing in team fights and solo
-Abilities are easy to use and deal lots of damage
Cons:
-Is pretty grounded with a lack of escape abilities
-Has a predictable move set that can be avoided
-Can be counter built easily with the right God
