Hunter's Blessing, as you'll want the early attack speed. You are the Carry, after all.
Without Hunters, just go for the tier 2 ring and pots.
This is what the Standard Build will usually look like, without selling boots or Blessing. You will likely not outlast someone with crits, but you can pack a surprising punch with your abilities plus your auto attacks. Spear of the Magus gives your attacks just that much more of a bite. Polynomicon is what brings the build together, as with Rajin's 2 you can burst someone down EXTREMELY quickly, with the proc from the spear, the DoT from his 2, and the empowered basic attack.
You can use the build in a similar fashion in the mid lane; empowering your basic attacks. Difference here is that you'll be buying Mage's Blessing instead and a Soul Reaver is what I recommend here. Otherwise its the same general playstyle, except you'll buy Poly as your seventh item.
I've been trying Rajin Carry for a little while now. I admire the playstyle he possesses, and having him being basic attack focus is pretty fun.
He isn't the best magical ADC, his kit isn't necessarily centered around it, but he packs quite a punch even so.
Rajin is very squishy, and will rely on his support in the early game. If you don't trust your support, I do not recommend this as a pick. Rajin can be bullied under tower with a bad support who can't peel, or who takes too much damage. He isn't really there to pick up that slack.
I've picked him up within the last few days so this tutorial will be adjusted as I play more of him.
Raijin can be a unique approach to both the Carry and Mid-lane position.
PROS:
+ Raijin's abilites do good damage. His two procs on basic attack hits and can almost burst a squishy to death with the right build, while you finsh off with your empowered basics or your 1.
+ Not reliant on cooldown reduction. With this build your basic attacks stand on their own. His 1 already has a lower cooldown and his 2 and 3 can be used to engage to burst someone down.
+ You can out-kill most mages with this build if you play right.
CONS:
- You're SUPER squishy, even moreso than other hunters. Expect to be frequently jumped on in the late game.
- Heavily reliant on Wards. His escape is kinda garbage in my opinion, and I prefer to use it as an engage. He's too squishy for an escape with that windup so I end up finding myself using it before an enemy engagement even happens rather than when they are moments from engaging me.
- Magic ADC builds are naturally limited. Whereas hunters have many options to choose from, to crits to attack speed to bruiser items, Mage ADCs don't really got much besides rings to increase attack speed, and have no options for crit builds.

It may not be better than a straight mage build but its unique and a fun way to play him imo.
