Skadi throws an icy spear forward, dealing damage to enemies and Slowing them for 3s. Kaldr's basic attacks deal double damage to targets afflicted by Piercing Cold.

Rune Of The Hunt

Toggle: Skadi marks a target for Kaldr to hunt. While toggled on, Kaldr assumes Beast form, chasing and attacking the marked enemy. If a marked enemy dies Kaldr attacks other enemies nearby. When toggled off, Kaldr stops attacking and returns to Skadi, reverting to his Elemental form on the way. This ability can be activated at rank 0 and Kaldr gains new skills as it ranks up.

Skadi freezes the ground for 5s at a target location. The icy area deals damage to enemies that touch it and continues to deal additional damage every .5s they stay on it. Gods who step on the ice are slowed and lose control of their movement while sliding across. Also, Skadi gains movement speed and Slow immunity while standing on the area and persists for 3s after it fades or she leaves.

A snowstorm surrounds Skadi as she chooses a location for Kaldr to attack. If Kaldr is too far he will leap there.

Upon reaching the location a snowstorm also surrounds Kaldr. The initial hit of either snowstorm Roots enemies in the area and Kaldr is restored to full health. The storms persist for 4s while dealing damage to enemies every .5s.

I see the intrigue of Crit build for Skadi, but she does better with power and penetration. Since Kaldr can't crit strike it is better if you get power and pen to make him stronger on attacks. If you aren't use Kaldr, you shouldn't be using Skadi in my opinion as he is key to your success.

What Kriega suggests is a good build for Skadi. I use the Trans build he suggests but in different order. I usually go: then sell for if you want to stick more or if you want more power and some lifesteal.

I like this build ^. I'll have to try it the next time I play Skadi. I had thought about , but since her attack chain is 1/1/1, I didn't think it would work as well as .

You listed one of Skadi's cons as a slow early game, but this is where she is the most or one of the most effective at compared with other hunters. Also your build has too much attack speed, fatalis and odysseus' bow is not ideal combined. May I suggest a build like this instead for high power: Warrior boots, Transcendence , Titans bane/Executioner, Qins Sais, Fatalis , Bloodforge/crusher/asi last. For a Crit build: Warrior Tabi (Sell for Ninja Tabi late), Devourers Gauntlet , Rage, Executioner, Deathbringer/Malice, Fatalis.

I see where you're coming from, I agree with you for the most part, but I'm addicted to attack speed which is why I listed odysseus bow as my 3rd item.
