Depending on the enemy team, start beads. You want beads off rip if the enemy has good CC from the start. If they don't, build Meditation Cloak. Feel free to choose Wing Shard or Claw Shard. If you feel like you'll want the extra boost of speed to get to lanes for ganks, go wing; if you feel like you'll want extra damage during a gank instead, go claw.
Of course, if Baron is in the match, get Baron's Brew; otherwise, grab 1 health and 2 multi.
Grab Manikin Scepter and Emerald ring off rip.
So, generally, you wanna just build full attack speed. Telkhine's is the first ring you wanna build, then go Hastened for the easy chase on autos. Maui makes good use of Autos off of his 3, so if you can gank by initiating with 3, you'll help your team shred enemies like it's nothing.
Next you want Demonic and Toxic Blade, which you can build whichever first. If you feel like you need anti-healing faster, go Toxic first. Lastly, you either wanna go Cyclopean for even more Attack Speed, or Magi's Revenge if you want a bit better defense. If the enemy team has a lot of hard CC, go Magi's.
Late game, if your build is finished, maybe get an Elixir of Power, since it's super good. Remember to grab wards.
Grab your 1 first, then your 3. You should focus your 2 the least, altho it's still worth throwing near your team during a fight, just because the prots and movement given are good. Use your 3 to initiate from behind a wall, often it'll catch the enemy off guard and get you a lot of damage. Use your 1 when you have nearby teammates, especially when near your ADC, because you can't auto during your 1. Still useful in a teamfight or gank, tho.
Ult to stop enemies from running away, don't just randomly throw it out. Maui's ultimate is SERIOUSLY good for pulling enemies back into the fight, and does decent damage, so when you use it, try to focus on landing it on a squishy first, because that'll usually secure more kills; if not by the ult itself, then by the launch bringing them back into your teammates.
Of course, off rip you wanna buy what I mentioned in the top. Go to the Duo side Speed camp, and as soon as you clear it, help the Mid laner with their Attack buff. Stay in Mid Lane until you hit level 3, then go pick up your second speed buff. If you need to, help Mid after getting the 2nd Speed, otherwise just start farming. Keep your eyes peeled for gank opportunities, especially in the Duo lane. If you have good comms with your Duo, have them lure the enemy out, because if the enemy Duo is pushed too far, you gank easily.
Focus farm and ganks, of course. Like I said before, your 3 is good for initiating and chasing. Your 1 is NOT to be used when you're alone, since it leaves you too open. Throw out your 2 whenever in a fight, since prots are always useful.
While farming, try to always split up your Speed buffs so that you pick one up when the other almost runs out, that way you always have Speed active. Focus on helping with Red and then try to do the Oracles. Whenever you pass harpies in the jungle, just kill them for easy xp. Gank often, if given the opportunities, because you have a seriously good kit for getting strong assists, and you have good chase with Hastened Ring. Your autos are your bread and butter out of your 3, then use your 1 to stop the enemy from retreating.
Always be warding the enemy Red and Green buffs, because you can have great vision on them and possibly get to steal them. Steal buffs if you have the pressure to do so.
Late game, you wanna get flanks on the enemy for teamfights. Not much to say, you'll be squishy, but you'll hit hard and have a ton of attack speed. Try and steal enemy buffs if your team has pressure, because it'll allow your team to just never let up, and that can lead to an easy victory.
In teamfights, you're built for taking out squishy targets. If you can flank and then land your 3 on the enemy ADC, you can usually secure the kill.
Maui is a super niche pick, not gonna lie, but he's SUPER fun in the Jungle; if played right, Maui is also incredibly powerful as a jungler. Maui has great options for ganking, from initiating, to chasing, to CC. . . Hope you enjoyed this guide, and to those who did: What can I say except, "You're welcome?"
