I'm a noob who recently has a liking to artio, as you can tell from my username. no i'm not some artio main with 20 trillion worshippers but i really like to play her as support or solo in casual conquest and she works in both roles well as long as your buffs don't get invaded in solo.
Remember, you don't get all of the items for Physical Protections or all for Magical, you want a mix of all of them
Physical Protection:
Jade Emperor's Crown is best early game and good late game as it provides physical protection, damage and a damage reduction aura. 30 Dmg reduction is alot early game and the reason it's still good late game because of solos, they build full defense and rely om base damage, so your aura is really effective against them.
Please. Please, DON'T buy this item if the enemy adc is magical, you could find sol or freya as adc in duo lane. Your ADC will probably slam his face on his keyboard/controller and BM you all game.
Get Hide of The Nemean Lion if you want to get Shield of thorns and if you want the enemy mid/adc/jungle to literally kill themself, don't get Breastplate of Valor if you get this item.
you can Breastplate of Valor too because it gives cdr which is something artio really needs since her cooldowns are long early game. Don't get Hide of The Nemean Lion if you get this item.
Magical Protection:
Hide Of The Urchin is a great item for protections against both Magical Damage and Physical, plus it goves you health and mana which is good early game.
Genji's Guard is a great item for CDR and magical protections.
Shogun's Kusari gives your adc a nice aa speed boost while also providing you with Magical Protections.

No one probably gives a shir about this guide but if someone did, i'd be surprised.
