Okay, so I was fooling around with Isis today in Joust 1v1 and I decided to play with a new kind of build, which almost resembles the standard Freya one. The only difference is that the purchasing order is a bit backwards.
Anyways, it's not the standard way to play Isis, at least not that I've seen, but it is a viable option if you're very skilled at the game and are looking for a new way to play your favorite champ.
1. So I start off with the standard mage shoes, whether you choose the 15% c/d reduction ones or the +15 magical penetration version is up to you. The latter will ensure more damage, but the added c/d will mean more stuns, which will be your best friend. Trust me!
Also, invest in Salvation (it's only 900 gold to max it out now) and the heal it provides will give you crazy sustain. Lastly, pick up some potions with your spare money.
2. Immediately work on a Rod of Tahuti. It'll be long and hard to max it out, but as long as you play safe and realize that you need to hug the tower during the early game, it shouldn't be impossible. Also start working on getting Shell, or maybe Sprint!
3. At this point in the game, just play Isis as you normally would. It's very difficult to start the game depending on your auto attacks with her, it's more of a late game blessing. Get the Polynomicon first, followed by Bancroft's Talon. Once those two are fully upgraded, get Fatalis.
This marks the beginning of you being able to use auto attacks to get some kills. Granted you wont be hitting as hard as true AD's such as Artemis or Neithe, but it's a great final defense in those "out of mana" team fights. Plus the added movement speed from Fatalis will make you almost unkillable.
Finally, purchase Demonic Grip! Max that out and you're done. Congrats. Rain hell on your enemies!
Spirit Ball will be your best friend with this build. That stun will make or break solo confrontations as well as your attempt at escaping. Upgrade this first!
Next is Wing Gust, followed by Dispel Magic. Only invest one point in each, then continuing to level up Spirit Ball, then your Ultimate whenever possible. Make Wing Gust the second ability you max out.
Now like I said, this build isn't the standard Isis set-up. It requires actual skill and knowledge of how the goddess works. Your early game will be decent because you will play her like normal, mid game will be a little harder, but end game will be awesome!
Let me explain a few things...
Her passive is really useless considering how most people build her. Her passive not only gives allies HP5 and MP5, but scales with magic power! I think the scale is 25% of her magic power! That's why you upgrade those heavy damage items before anything else. You need to gain that damage before unleashing it in a flurry of auto attacks!
When it comes to basic attacks, maximize damage by always hitting 3 times and always after using an ability. The Polynomicon will give her a strong first hit, the second will be decent, then use your stun as quick as possible and finish with the third, and final hit. The damage from the Polynomicon, plus the increased damage the third strike grants will seriously cut through any squishy character!
Now I know what you're thinking... How is she gonna survive, she's so squishy and has no defense items?
The two life steal items also apply on her basic attack hits, usually giving back 38-40 health back per hit (and she hits pretty fast). Maximize this by getting the magic power buffs!
Lastly, a Gem of Binding or Isolation can be used in place of one of these items if you feel safer or more confident with a slow. You'll just lack extra damage/attack speed/ or lifesteal. But that's totally up to you!
Pros:
- Pretty decent escapes after getting acquiring Fatalis
- Very good chaser with the stun/auto attack/wing gust/ult combo
- Fun and many people don't expect her auto attacks to hit so hard
Cons:
- Extremely squishy, seriously you'll be relying on your stun and actives to keep you alive
- Not as easy as the typical build, but a lot more rewarding
- Creeps can be a real pain up until like level 12

Try to get some BBCode in for the items e.g do: [ [Rod Of Tahuti] ] without the spaces, to do Rod of Tahuti.
Rod of Tahuti. <<If you want that, then you wanna select your color FIRST and then type Rod Of Tahuti with two ['s at each side. Or you could just mark the text and then press the color pad and select the color you want.
If you want to do icons only (no text), then do [ icon=Rod Of Tahuti size=32 ] ( you can change the size to whatever you want), without spaces. It would look like this:
This guide has potential. +1when filling in skill order.
7/10 as of 27/9
Fill in the skill order. Please.
Tips for improvements: Replace your colored text with BBCode. Also change your plain "Isis" to Eset (It's just the same thing as you do with items).
Also, a picture of her would be nice. Not necessary, but nice. Do [ img=urlhere ] without spaces and of course a valid URL to get something like this:
If you want to use this picture, then the URl is: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ec/Isis.svg
