Janus creates a portal in the world. If placed on a wall, the portal will create a passage through to the other side of the wall that Janus or any ally may use. The portal may be entered from either side, but closes after 1 use.

If placed on the ground, enemies and Janus will fall into the portal, being teleported into the air above it. Enemies take damage upon landing, and are considered banished during the fall.

Unstable Vortex

Janus creates two tethered unstable portals, far too small to fit into, and flings them forward dealing damage to enemies in their path. Enemies hit by both portals take 15% damage on the second hit.

Passive: Janus increases the movement speed of himself and allies each time they go through a portal or over a Threshold (max 3 Stacks).

Active: Janus opens a multi-dimensional rift. Enemies who pass over the rift are slowed, and marked with Phase. Targets in Phase take additional Magical scaling damage when hit by Janus' damaging abilities.

Passive: Janus gains increased % Magical Penetration.

Active: Janus becomes CC Immune and blasts a ball of multi-dimensional energy across the battlefield, burning a portal into every surface it encounters within range 500. These portals last 10s, may be used by allies, and do not vanish after the first use.

Enemies hit take damage, increasing in Magical scaling the further the energy travels. Enemy gods cannot take more than 75% of their maximum Health as damage.

Hi and welcome to my Janus Guide,
Janus is my Main since a half Year and i do really well with him in high Diamond. So i hope I can give you some tips and tricks how to play
Janus well. this guid is at the and of season 8 and I make sure i will update it a few Weeks after Season 9 starts. When you can say something to all the new stuff comes in.

What to do when

Early Game

In the Early game you have some Damage but your main Goal is to farm and Janus can do this very well becaus of his portals you can get a lot of Farm very quick make sure you get a lot of back Camps between the Waves and dont fight to much. when yut Jungler ganks you, you can set up his damage with your 1 but make sure that you dont Potal the opponent out of the damage of your Jungel.

Mid Game

At the Mid game look for some ganks in the side Lanes with your Ult you out rotate evry other mid laner in the Game and can easy get in a fight in Duo or Solo but dont rotate to much and get enought farme to peforme well in the Late Game

Late Game

This is your time to shine you are hard to catch with your portals and do a lot of Damage with your 2. You will play a bit of a in and out play style try to ult troght a wall and right after you passt it hit you 2 this will most likely kill a squishy immediately if you hit both if you miss or kill someone but are in a dangerous Postion portal away after that.

Some extra Tips and Tricks

-Make sure you are stay Close to walls so if you need to get away you can immediately get awy with your portals
-id you hit your 1 make sure you hit the 2 in the perfect timing when the enemy cant do anything like a leap or something but can be hit so you make the maximum of damge
-try to get your passive online before you 2 so you can make extra damage
-try to ult with your mate so not only use it a gank of you and the sup or the jungel will always hit harder
-Remamber you can save mates that are out of postion with a good pertal not only you can use them
-Make sure you hit both parts the left and the right for extra damage especially when an enemy is stunt from a mate or hit by your 1
-Dont use your 1 to much on the ground try to roam around and get farm so you can pop off in the late game
