I want to make it clear that I'm not expert to Smite. I'm posting this so that if somebody is new to Bellona and running joust they have something to work this. DO NOT USE THIS IN RANKED
There's no fresh builds for her posted since they removed items so I figured I'd put mine up. This is what I always run going into Joust and it works out alright.
The goal of this build is to make sure you and your team are the first ones with the kills and keeping up the momentum. Try to get damage buff. You should be able to get a kill or two at the very beginning of the round or chase off the other team. I recommend having a God with healing along side you.I've done many games where I've taken first tower around 3:00 - 4:00 just because of getting first bloods in.
Make sure you level your Bludgeon first!!!! This is extremely important to this build.. It will help so much with wave clearing and will put out so much damage at the beginning of the game to help your team gain the first kills and keeping up the momentum. Don't be scared to box after your 1 with frostbound hammer.
Pros
- Great phys damage
- Good natural HP
Cons
- If caught in CC's escaping can be difficult unless you have ult
- Limited attack speed
- Limited Healing (Recommend playing alongside God's like Ra and Guan Yu.. Heals and damage)
This will not work in ranked play when the expectation for every God will be the meta.
It catches people off-guard in casual joust, where you can get away with it.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
