My Horrible Ymir! I find Ymir to be a pretty downright fun god to play as for just some obvious reason really. My build isnt all super professional or super detailed like most so if you expect to find something nice and explanitory here I think you are out of luck...
Pros
+Fun Build to play(from my experience)
+I have no idea Lol
+Was able to Tank and Entire team for a period of time
Cons
-I made this build
-Can be pretty expensive and bad if you dont get a good farm going
-Specific to my play style and might not be for everyone
-Ice Wall-
YOU SHALL NOT PASS- Ice Wall can be a very good skill for blocking off an enemies escape and traping them with you and a team mate or cutting off an enemy chasing you or an Ally. Its very adaptable and I find myself using it a lot in the later game to ensure some of my skills hit(Shards of Ice). your only worry is enemies with a pounce/jump move.
-Glacial Strike-
This move is pretty much Ymir's only quick way of farming minions and or slowing down the enemy players(in my experience). You will also be using Glacial Strike a lot in Unison with his other skills to slow the target even more. But mainly for farming minions... since the actually hit for the skill is delayed if your enemy is running away from you a good distance ahead dont bother trying to get them with it... Not much to say about this skill really its pretty straight forward.
-Frost Breath-
This will be your main skill for starting your skill chains(aside from first trapping them in with a Ice Wall or after) This skill does no damage but! It will lock your foe in place for X amount of time leaving them at the mercy of you and other nearby allies/minion/Towers(Like taking a hit from them so the tower targets them then freezing em lol and traping em with ice wall). Anyways my main method of using this skill is to freeze the target and try to hit them with a Glacial Strike to slow them afterwards.
-SHARDS OF ICE-
This skill...This skill... will be your finishers for when your target is low on HP and Slowed/Frozen/Trapped in by Ice Wall. Its a VERY deadly skill often dealing 650+(up to 1650Max on targets with next to no defense and piercing) there really isnt much to say about this skill its very straight foward as for me I often find myself going -FrostBreath>GlacialStraike>IceWall>ShardsOfIce-. its an excellent skill for finishing a kill nothing more or less.
PS- Im not good at explaining anything.
Your biggest allies with teams.
Anyone who can stun/immobilize/Draw in targets for a long period of time.
Odin (Ring of Spears)
Hades (Obvious)
Artemis (Effin Boar...)
and a bunch of others.
Combining those with your own immobilizing tactics you can pretty much perma stun a single target and Burst them down with your team.
"Team Work Relentlessly Gang banging a single target till it dies.
-Azure"
Summary of all this...DONT FOLLOW MY BUILD ADVICE UNLESS YOUR JUST SCREWING AROUND. lol

Never buy items which need stacks at late game. You don't have enough time for this. And you don't need sovereignty much when you play against ADs. Use "Hide of the Nemean Lion" for this.
One of my reasons for choosing Sov instead of Nemean is simple really
1. Extra Health/Team Buff for Team Fights
2. Ymir is already naturally tanky against melee so I just prioritized other things

Stacking items are actually really good late game and very easy to get to full. Items that have stacks reset should not go on tanks, but Sash doesnt so its the correct call.
