Hey guys, this is my first time using smite fire, but I had a build that worked wonders for me in holding lanes. I have no needs to return to base what so ever unless of course I am killed which rarely happens for some reason. So I figured I would share this build in hopes you would find it as useful as I do.
First off. My starter items. (Bare with me i dont know how to insert icons)
1. Vampiric shroud: The reason this item helps me, Is because it restores my mana and health on kills. Since it does this, it's easier to regain my hp and mp with kills instead of having to get some life steal which would end up messing up my build.
2. Meditation (level 1) : Meditation helps restore any mana I can't get easily with vampiric shroud if I'm having trouble. Such as being push from the lane with little to no mana. I can easily fight back and get back into lane to keep up the clearing. Another thing, it also helps when I'm low on mana, but my ult is up and i'm in a gank or a group fight in the jungle where the enemy team is clumped together. Just pop meditation and you've got enough mana to keep the battle going.
3: Boots + Potions: Boot's obviously are a starting item I use but I only go for level 1 boots. Why? Because I need a little bit of movement speed if I do end up getting ganked early without warning. Plus I have a little mobility to "dance" circles around my enemies. And as for the mana potions? Obviously a little extra back up. It's not absolutely necessary, but I pick one or two up anyways.
Now for my early into mid game items.
1. Shoes of focus: It's obvious as to why these are the boots I have my bunny boo pick up for me. The cool down is really good for me to keep on spamming my one and two. Not literally....(literally). It gives me lower cooldown on my skills, including my one, so I have a chance to clear waves quicker than I was before. Also the magical damage is added one giving me a bit more damage as well as more movement.
2. Stone of Gaia: Now, here's the reason Stone is an absolute MUST. Stone of Gaia grants Mp5 hp5 protections and health. The main reason I buy it is for the regen it gives me. I can stay in lane as long as I desire. Now sure it is pricey but trust me it's worth it. Add that ontop of vampiric shroud in mid game and you're practically a regen monster.
3. Last for this portion I usually just finish off medi if I have the gold for it. I won't always do it unless I absolutely feel I must finish it. But you should be fine with just medi one.
1. Obsidian shard: The main reason I buy this is not only for the damage increase, but the pen. Normally I buy this if I'm fighting someone who can get a little hp crazy or def crazy. Such as guardians of all kinds. This also works on towers. I can easly take down an Ymir or any guardian that isn't ganking 24/7. If there is anyone besides the guardian I'm surrently locked in combat with trying to attack me, I'll either get the heck out and run somewhere safer, or I'll keep fighting depending on who the back up is.
2. Chronos pendant: There is no question as to whether or not to buy this item. Send the bunny back ASAP when this item is available for purchase. It gives you so much cooldown allowing you to use your three and one to the max. The damage added on as well as the MP5 will make you super scary to an enemy that you're fighting against. Keep in mind, never retreat to base to get this item unless you are down to the lowest hp and you feel super unsafe.
3. Book of thoth: Obvious once again. The mana + mp5 and the damage makes this item obvious as to why I would buy it. Now this may seem like a pure mana built chang'e, and that's the point. I want to be able to have as much regen and mana as possible to clear waves efficiently and as quickly as possible. The quicker I get a wave cleared, the quicker I can regen with vampiric and the quicker I can keep my mana and hp up.
4. Lotus crown: Now I don't normally buy this particular item. I only buy it in emergencies where I have to defend my team and take on that supportive role for chang'e. Taking on this role doesn't normally change up the build. If it does, there should be no problem riding yourself of one of the mp5 items. I suggest riding book of thoth and replacing it with rod of asclepius or some other support item. The reason I suggest rod if because it will increase the healing you get from your three. Like I said, these are not necessary unless it's a team support issue.
FInally the actives.
1: Meditation: Like I said there's no absolute reason to finish off meditation unless you feel uncomfortable and need more mana restoration.
2: Beads: The reason for beads is incase of a crowd control issue. Such as being inside Ymir's ult, getting targeted by Thor ult, and all other CC skills/effects.
3: Sprint: Sprint I use incase if I feel I can either
A: kill an enemy while I'm low with fast movement
or B: Escape easily in order to save myself from death.
4: Weakening curse. : I buy weakening curse on some occasions such as when I'm caught in a team fight against the enemy team, or my entire team except me is down and I'm being chased, or the gank is focused on me and I'm scared s**tless. Sometimes I waste it and slow enemies who aren't even targetting me. That or I use it to slow a low hp incoming enemy for my team to secure the kill on them.
Here's the use for my skills.
First skill Crescent moon dance: This skill is an amazing skill for clearing waves, and hitting enemies out of reach. I mostly use it for clearing early to mid game in order to get my gold I need to send my bunny back to retrieve my items for me. Like I said, I never leave lane. I prefer to use this skill, run around between the archers and brutes/swordsman creeps, and use my three as a combo skill. This uses a bit of mana early game, but it's a more efficient wave clearer for me. But do NOT do this if an enemy god is close enough to harm you. Make sure you are able to dodge the attacks if there is and you're feeling like taking a risk.
second skill: Moonlit Waltz : Moonlit waltz for me as it should it, is my main form of evading any attacks that could potentially harm me big time/ kill me. I usually use this to evade an incoming ult that has CC or an ult like Nu Wa's.
Third skill: Moonlight flower dance: This skill is obviously my main form of clearing as well as healing. As I said in Crescent moon dance, I combine this skill to Crescent to get a quicker clear in minion waves. I also use this to heal up enemies in need, as well as do circular damage to enemies around me.
Fourth skill Waxing moon: This is obviously your main form of damaging, stunning to secure a kill, or straight up killing. For some reason using this skill gets me hype AF. I normally won't use it on a single enemy, unless I'm positive I can absolutely get the kill off the target. I mostly use it in ganks, or team fights against the enemy team. If Waxing moon hits enemies one after another (up to 5) The stun duration is increased for each one it goes through.
The sum up this build, it's basically for getting quick easy Mp and or HP, and being able to stay in lane without a problem. Early game you will have some trouble so don't worry if you end up having some issues earlier. Mid game to later game there will be big improvements as soon as Gaia stone comes into play. TBH I prefer you buy Gaia as your second item as soon as you get the gold for it. Of course there is the issue of waiting for the gold to come, but it is entirely worth it in the end trust me on this. Enemies will see you as a threat later on in the game maybe even mid game and will probably try to take you down in ganks. But don't worry, this is where all the Mp HP5's come into play to save your sweet moon booty. So don't worry. You'll be perfectly safe.
Cons to this build.
1:weak early game.
2: Slow regen early game
3: Slightly squishy without the regen
4: Requires you to wait for exact gold amounts.
5: Bunny takes a while the more you
move up in the game.
6: Bunny may reveal your location if you are
being followed
7: Bunny only buys 1 item at a time.
Pros:
1. Quicker regen
2. Able to hold lane till end game.
3: death defying
4: Some CC defence
5: Wave clear is amazing
6: Easier god kills.
7: Lots of cooldown, damage, and mana.
Now finally to finish this off, is the teamwork it puts in.
Now that you have a lane holding build, Chang'e will be able to let your allies return to base when they need to and she'll be able to defend the lane, and keep enemies from harming her too much. Her bunny will be her helper and keep her from having to run back to lane over and over again.
Chang'e will also be able to support well in team fights with her constant mana regen, and cooldowns, which will give her the ability to use her 3 over and over to heal up allies and do damage to enemies hopefully giving them the message to back off.
Chang'e is also able to strike fear into enemies when she comes into range. They will know she is strong and able to stay as long as she wants in her chosen lane. And she refuses to back off. over all your chang'e will be an unstoppable force if you know how to play her well enough that you can follow this build and have it work successfully. Remember, Do not back unless it is absolutely necessary. Your bunny is your assistant, and he will catch the items for you. So stand your ground, chin up, and dance your heart out through the entire lane until you win your match.

... but it's the fact some people like to spend a lot of mana which makes meditation an item they would probably use. I spend a lot of mana it's a bad habit...
Exactly - just a habit. While it is fully OK to buy/use Meditation for you, proposing it as a part of an "expert" build is questionable. When you learn to manage your mana better, you'll find out that there are plenty of other items Chang'e can benefit from way better:
All 3 of these (and many others) sounds like a very tempting reason to learn to manage mana and/or use mana pots.
Howdy.
Thanks for trying to makle a guide for Chang'e, the most amazing god there is. :-)

Thank you for the comment, I understand the reason you'd only need mana potions, but it's the fact some people like to spend a lot of mana which makes meditation an item they would probably use. I spend a lot of mana it's a bad habit, and thank you for the help on icon inserts.
