Notes items shown in order. Arondight should be your first item after boots, then buy hydras. Deathbringer is a core item IMO since you can deal 700 damage basics to help you with the lack of damage on your skillset. Void shield will give you extra tankiness and penetration. You can then sell boots to get a heartseeker or dominance for extra pen, or a spectral if they have a lot of crits

Loki disappears in a puff of smoke. While invisible, he moves faster, removes Slow effects, and gains immunity to Slow effects. His next Basic Attack from stealth (or for 2s after) applies a bleed to his target, dealing damage every .5s and reveals Loki. If Loki takes damage while in stealth he will be revealed for .33s.

Loki is a nice god, maybe not the best jungler rn but sure he is strong. I wish people started playing loki like he should be played, a stealth assassin.
This new loki is much more fun IMO, and more versatile.

Combo

Your combo would be: stealth - ult - 2 - 3 - basic attack

The reason you want to put 2 before damaging is because you want the passive asap. It gives the enemy 5% damage reduced and applies Behind You! from all sides.

Also, ulting after going stealth is a must. The stealth basic attack buff lasts for a long time so you can do all your combo and then apply a buffed basic attack to secure. Obviously, this is not a 100% kill, but you will deal a lot of damage

Another "combo" would be starting with your 2 and positioning behind the enemy, then use your 3 and he should have the passive charged (the one you apply with your 2) so you just chase him auto attacking. The worst thing to do against a loki is running.

You should add Heimdallr and Camazotz to your threats. They can see through Vanish with Screech and Piercing Sight.

Why Deathbringer? This isn't Ne Zha who can get away with it as a lone crit item.

Corrected! I feel so dumb, thought it had something to do with his passive but no. Anyways, answering your question, i still think Deathbringer is the only useful crits item for that 30% more damage on crits. I dealt some 700 / 800 damage with a single AA thanks to that (late game)

My guess is they're confusing the backstab hits as crits. Both have that "blood" effect on them.

From the notes it does appear that the author is confusing Loki's backstab bonus with the crit bonus. Loki has no crit chance bonus and his backstabs aren't considered crits.

SmiteFire & Smite
