~Hello There~

Author's Regards

First off I just wanna thank you for taking the time to read this guide. Now this may not be the most professional guide around and I may not be the best Smite Player in the world, but if you wanna know how I build MY Ymir then go on ahead and continue to read this guide.

Why is there some item differences in all the different orders?

The first order is great for if you wanna keep your Ymir moving fast and hurting people.

However should you choose to trade out your boots you can exchange the Shoes of Focus for Spear of Desolation. The only problem??
You are gonna be hella slow. So you better make sure you pick your fights if you go with Number 2.

Now let me clarify something. You do NOT have to do one in specific. Usually I like to buy the shoes early game because it gives me benefits that you need early. However I like to trade them out in the late game for the Spear of Desolation so if you want to do my second order than at LEAST buy the Shoes of Focus in the beginning so you aren't slower than your grandma trying to run the 100 yard dash.

In the third order, that's if you wanna REALLY mess up somebody's day. I love using that build in Joust. Still buy the boots in the beginning. Don't buy the gem of isolation at all.

Good things about the First Order

The Pros

Great Health overall. (Over like 3500 if I remember correctly. Been awhile since I've played him due to playing Odin.)
Great Mana (You'll never run out again.)
Awesome Damage (At fully charged your ultimate can probably one shot most mages, hunters, and assassins. You also get bonuses from The Staff and the Book.)
Decent Movement Speed. (Eh. You can chase down most gods as long as they don't have anything like Stone Cutting Sword.)
Slows down enemies and works well with the passive and your Ice Spikes ability. (Double slows for the win.)

This is just a general, all around good build.

Bad Thing about the first.

The Cons

Some of the items are expensive.
No protections (Most Guardian players at least build ONE item that gives protections. None of these do that at all.)
Not as much damage as the other builds.

Although this build is a good one it lacks protections so your health might start dropping the moment the crits start hitting.

Good things about the Second

The Pros

    Great Health. (Still.)
    Great Mana.
Even Better damage than the first.
Slows down enemies and works well with the passive and your Ice Spikes ability.

Now we are talking pain. This build will make a lot of low-health enemies cry in fear as you charge recklessly into battle.

Bad Things about the second Order.

The Cons

    More Expensive Items.
    No protections.
Less Movement Speed than the first order.

Pick and choose your fights because the wrong one will get you killed. You can't exactly 'run' with no shoes.

Good things about the Third Order

The Pros

    Great Health.
    Great Mana.
INCREDIBLE Damage. (You knew that the moment you saw the Rod of Tahuti.)
    Crushes anyone in your path.

This damage is gonna really bring the pain to the enemy team.

Bad things about the Third Order

The Cons

    VERY EXPENSIVE ITEMS.
    No protections.
    Barely any movement speed.
Nothing else to slow down enemies other than your abilities.

Like the second one you gotta pick and choose those fights. However you will still probably win the fight.

Overall Summary of the Builds.

The First

This is just a good build if you wanna be moving fast and hitting hard. It works with your passive well and just overalls works out in the game. However you might run into some problems should someone start hitting you with lots of crits or if a giant team coms over to start whacking on you.

The Second

This build is very similar in design to the first except more damage and less movement speed. If you are gonna pick a fight make sure you win because unless you buy Sprint you aren't just walking out of there.

The Third

This build will make everyone cry in anger from how much damage you are dealing. This is purely for your own sick, twisted humor as you watch your enemies fall and your K/D ratio skyrocket. However like the second you will have less movement speed and without the gem of isolation the only thing slowing down enemies is your freeze and your spikes. However, with all that damage your cold-hearted self, pun intended for Ymir, will be able to easily kill everyone. Even guardians with high protections will fear you.
