Notes Pick 2, reasoning for each pick:

Void shield - Boxing the enemy jungler or adc, also helps your adc melt tanks with the passive

Heartseaker - You're ahead and want more damage

Pridwen - The shield does NOT work with Nike shield, only go this if you went brawlers over jotuns to cap out your cdr easier

Spirit robe - Enemy has a god such as hercules or sobek where they are trying to cc you and blow you up, gives you a lot of mitigations after being cc'd as well as 10% cdr to help hit 40% cap

Mantle of Discord - Useful if you don't particularly need any other items as it has good protections and cdr + passive can save you or team mates in fights, especially since you're diving the backline

Talisman of energy - You're needing magical protections against the enemy mid laner such as a poseidon or scylla whilest having a comp that wants to chase or an auto attack heavy comp, the 10% extra movement speed and attack speed aura as well as mp5 on the passive is huge

Oni Hunters Garb - Good in conjunction with spriit robe, you are often going to be near 3 enemies getting full benefit of the passive, again get this if the enemy mid laner is giving you problems

Enemies who get near the barrier are repelled. At any point, Nike can re-fire the ability to collapse the barrier and deal damage to enemies in front of the barrier.

Nike abilities and their usess


Your main damaging ability, especially early game, use this to help clear camps before you have arondight (As around this point auto attacking is roughly faster and you're more likely to want this ability up for fights/ganks)

The ability disarms if you hit all 3 hits on the same target which can be useful against the enemy adc in teamfights

This ability is also knockup immune, making you immune to abilities such as Hercules 2 earthbreaker or the knockup from susano ultimate. You can cancel this ability with right click if you urgently need to use ultimate or jump during a team fight

This ability is what makes nike so fun to play, the ability is also knockup immune.

The shield slows down your turning speed (not affected by sensitivity) but forms a barrier infront of you, blocking ranged based autos and knocking back enemy gods who touch the front of the shield. This is extremely useful for cutting off chokepoints enemies are trying to flee through during fights and has potential to waste enemy escapes such as nemesis dash by cutting off a point and making them bounce off the shield

You can walk around with the shield up, constantly knocking back the enemy, pushing them either away from an objective, or towards your team

The shield can also be exploded any time during the 6 seconds by reactivating the ability, dealing a decent chunk of burst damage to anyone infront of it


A standard leap, has pretty good damage however should be more used for engage or disengage or dodging abilities such as vulcan ultimates most of the time. This ability knocks up enemies it hits and can position you behind enemies to push them with your shield

Although recently nerfed by the sunder relic now removing shields, this ultimate is still incredibly powerful, it has 4 main components all equally important for playing jungle Nike. The huge AOE damage, the huge AOE slow, and the health shield and upon casting, the only cc immunity in your kit.

This can be used to allow you to catch up to an enemy while your jump is on cooldown, force beads or escapes to then jump on them, or to give you survivability if being focused.

The fact Nike ultimate has so many uses is why CDR is such an important factor in the build

I've picked Nike! What do I do?

Your general aim is to poke out the enemy mid laner and look for as many mid camps, oracles, enemy back camps (closest to speed) and red buff invades as you can.

Your 1 is insane base damage, especially early and easily half hp the enemy mid who has stepped up to clear a wave.

Immobile mid laners are your favourite thing to see on the enemy team as you can jump on them from behind, knocking them up and pushing them towards your team with the 2, allowing your team to freely mop up the kills.

In team fights mid game you want to focus the enemy mage and poke them out and/or kill them so they are not in a good position to kill your team

Late game team fights you want to harass the enemy adc or mid laner, the most important tool to harass the enemy adc is the shield ability (2), you want to use this to block their autos and waste their time wile your adc melts their front lining tanks

No Crusher?

Also maybe add more situationals like Ancile, winged blade etc... and the 2nd Relic option.

No crusher since CDR or antiheal is too valuable

Ancile isn't really useful since you already have enough damage and if you're needing magic defense, its better to just get straight up defense on Nike

Again winged blade isn't really that useful since you already have a cleanse (ult) and a jump, if they have some slow you need to avoid such as cupid ult your support should be getting sprint instead as often too many things unreliably proc winged blade imo, it would go in one of the slots instead of getting protections which are just too valuable

As for 2nd relic options there is none, in any decent level games you get beads or you get blown up on cooldown
