Hi, I'm Rococo. This is my second build I'm doing!
Nu Wa is a super fun character to play and you can make a giant pressure if you know how to play her. This build is focused on playing her in an aggressive way, doing a lot of damage and generating a lot of pressure. I only have 3 stars with it, but a lot of game experience! :)
I hope you enjoy it and that it will be useful in your games!
Pros:
- Generates a lot of pressure
- Good CC
- High damage in late game
- Global ulti that can be used to reveal the enemy's location.
Cons:
-Very squishy in early game
- Mana hungry
- Easy to be ambushed if not played a little defensively
- High cooldowns
As I said before, this build is focused on generating pressure and doing damage.
For this we will need items like: Rod of Tahuti and Soul Reaver, which will be useful to melt the enemy's magic protection. Also with Spread of Desolation and Charon's Coin we will increase the damage range of Nu Wa.
Then, Soul Gem and Spear of Desolation will provide a small amount of cooldown so that we can use her ulti (and in general, her abilities) more frequently and enter teamfights without problems. If necessary, Spear of Desolation can be replaced by Chrono's Pendant to provide more cooldown.
Gem Soul is the best item for Nu Wa, it provides cooldwon, magical lifesteal and health, but the important thing is the 25% extra damage you can do with the item, if you combine it well with its ulti and Archmage's Gem stacks and the 2% extra damage that Soul Reaver brinds you, I assure you that the damage scales highly.
Depending on what style of play you want to do, Chrono's Pendant can provide a little more cooldown. With Spear of Desolation and Soul Gem you only have 30% cooldown, so with Chrono's Pendant you would add 10% more. The ulti goes from 88 seconds to 76 seconds but reduces a little the damage you can do.
If you want to be a bit more aggressive but sacrifice your cooldown you can use Divine Ruin or Obsidian Shard. However, Spear of Desolation has that cooldown percentage and a bit of penetration, the best of both worlds! Obsidian Shard combines pretty well with Archmage's Gem, Soul Reaver y Soul Gem.
You will start with Shining Metal to be able to damage the minions more easily and besides, it is the ability that generates more damage. Then Mysterious Fog will help you to clean the minions completely.
Clay Soldier will help you to generate a little more pressure in case the minion wave is clear or you have cleared it before the enemy and you still have allied minions left.
At level 4, level up Clay Soldiers to get your second soldier and then focus on leveling up Shining Metal, Clay Soldier and Mysterios Fog. Whenever you have the chance to level up your utli, do it!
In terms of combos, the most used are:
Mysterious Fog, Clay Soldiers and Shining Metal (in that order). The idea of this is that you do a lot of damage by exploding the soldiers and then while the enemy is stuned Mysterious Fog does a little more "passive" damage, in case the enemy does not die you can use Fire Shards to finish off the enemy, and it is always convenient to use it because it reveals information about the enemy on the minimap.
If you know how to handle Mysterious Fog well, you can even ambush the enemy, do it without fear!
