Hey everyone, this is my second guide I have made so would really appreciate any feedback you guys have. I've been playing Nu Wa mid on and off since about season 3 and it seems she has fallen out of the meta. Nu Wa is still extremely powerful, and great in team fights when it comes to her stuns/roots, and zoning. Plus a global ultimate always helps.
Nu Wa's biggest weakness is her early game lane clear. Any gods that have great early clear should bring some caution, Kuku, Scylla, and anyone that can clear from the sides of the waves, since yours requires you to be pretty straight on. I would get soldiers first, and once all abilities have one, probably get it again so you have two, after that try and get your 3 max as quick as possible since that is where all your combos/damage stems from.
Also make sure you are maximizing XP camps and buff. Since you have weak clear early on, you might lose some XP to tower, so make sure you don't lose those.
Another big weakness of Nu Wa is no clear escape move, your 1 is ok for zoning, and gives you a little movement speed, but you do not have a dash or anything like that. So early game don't extend too high.
Around level 8 or so, and depending on items, your clear will be great, now start focusing on incorporating damage to the enemy with your clear. Your main combo does a lot, plus if you can use it to cancel a move the enemy is casting that's a bonus. Also try and be aware of all enemies health on the map, your global ult starts off weak but scales pretty high. I would say try not to waste it and steal kills, but be aware if the enemies have gotten away from your teammates.
The ult is also a great time kill if you get ganked. Don't think it just has to be a kill confirm, if you get ganked by jungle, and maybe support, pop the ult to give your team a little more time to rotate over. It also helps lower your cool downs so you can pop the stun and run.
