Welcome to my first guide for odin. Odin can be built in many ways and can either do a lot of damage and help a team mate. I'm going to divide my chapters into the 3 build names so it's not mixed up with different builds. Be advised there will be a lot of text, so don't be surprised if you get bored.
Odin is a fantastic brawler, just like Thor but odin can take more damage without dieing. Because of odins passive Birds of Wisdom, he can counter ganks in his lane because of the increased minimap range.
At the start of the game, you will have to rely on hp/mana pots (very mana hungry). Although he has tank stats, he can still die with Reinforced Boots. The only reason why you get this item is because of the decreased cc by 30%.
Qin's Blades are a great starting item because of it's passive, which gives you a 30% chance to deal 10% of the enemies hp. This could be good taking down a tank like Ymir or Sobek. Hopefully you can get an early kill if you trap somebody who can't get out of your ult (Anubis, Artemis etc).
If the majority of the enemy team is magical power (mage) then Stone of Gaia is a perfect item for you to counter (Unless they have Obsidian Shard (then you have a high chance of dieing). Unfortunately the only way to counter this is to build up as a Damage Dealer, but I will explain that more in the other chapter.
Devourer's Gloves is just another item for physical power. I buy this item because of the permanent stacks it gives you. If you take too many hits when attacking in team fights, you can buy Soul Eater and gain the extra hp from Qin's Blades passive.
Void Blade is just like Void Stone, just the mp is replace with physical power/protection. This would be a great item to counter Bakasura, Arachne, Sun Wukong, Kali etc. If you are vsing an anhur that knows how to counter a brawler, then you might have some problems... The thing I like about it's passive is that it gives the enemy -40 physical protection. This would be good to counter tanks, aswell as dominate squishy gods.
Deathbringer, is kind of self explanatory. It gives you a higher chance of crits + crit damage. Its normal 50 physical power isn't much late game, however it's enough to take down those squishy mages and fighters. You are pretty much immune to dieing 1v1 against a mage (close range). If you are smart and buy Creeping Curse, you can take down a retreating assasin/fighter.
In-game Situations
A. If you have a mage without an escape plan running away from a tank/mage who has no escape from your ult, then it is probably smart to help your team mate.. To do this you use your leap before the enemy (roughly 30 ft) and use your ult. MAKE SURE: Your team mate is outside of your ult or else it will be a disaster for you and your teammate. Because of the cc immunity and protection/power in odin's ult, when fully built it is hard to take him down. Be sure to target mages because it is easier to kill them instead of Ares or Sobek etc. If you don't want to go in battle don't use your leap and trap them in your ult then jump out.
B. Team battle and with Zues. 3/5 enemies don't have an escape plan out of your ult. What do you do? You use the good old double ult. It is pretty much the most deadly double ult the game has. If you have a stupid Zues on your team and doesn't use his ult, make sure you have somebody else who is good inside of your ult. Hades and Bakasura are pretty good because even if you miss getting them inside your ult they can jump in and use their ult.
So in conclusion, it is VERY hard to be killed as a brawler and I recommend this type of item build the most out of all the builds.
This title won't be long as for I do not really favour the next two builds. Most of the items have been already explained so ditto means the same thing.
Odin can be a great damage dealer and built correctly he can kill in 5 hits (maybe lower if they are hell squishy). Let's start off with the items.
Warrior's Tabi is good to start off with as a damage dealer because of the extra damage and attack speed. The crit chance doesn't do much but it's something. There's not much really to say, other then the extra speed it gives.
Qin's Blades ("") Ditto
Heartseeker is a great item, because of the stacks it gives you and the movement speed. This is good for running away from enemies, not so much Kali and Sun Wukong but you get the picture.
Soul eater is a fantastic item for a damage dealer. Because you hit high numbers, you will get around 100 hp each hit. Say if your attack speed with Qin's Blades and Soul Eater was 1.5 and with odin's shout it's 2 or so. That's 200 hp each second... It is rediculious how easy it is to gain hp with odin as a damage dealer. You might be squishy, but you will kill them 1v1.
Titan's Bane is just an item for Physical Penetration. You will need physical penetration at late game to take down tanks and do even MORE damage to mage/fighters.
Deathbringer ("") Ditto
I highly recommend you do not do this build as you will do nothing to the enemy team.
Reinforced Boots ("") Ditto
Stone of Gaia ("") Ditto
Void Blade ("") DITTO
Finally an item that hasn't been explained.. Breastplate Of Valor is alright because of the extra mana and the protection.
Magi's Blessing is just an item to absorb an attack every minute. This is good for teamfights, taking all the aggro. This also gives you more hp and mana.
Qin's Blades ("") Ditto
Well, finally up to the conclusion. It took my 2 hours but it's finally done, have fun with my builds.

Good guide, but that tank build could use some improvement. Odin's HP5 is awsome, so I focus on building that, not stuff like Magi's blessing. Odin makes an awsome tank, I recommend you experiment with different tanky builds. Plus, Odin is meant to be played as a tank, even if you don't go full tank.
I can say that odin is meant to be TANKY, but not tanky nevertheless.
I did a couple of games with Odin in the time I played in the Closed Beta, which was over a year ago, and I decided to rent him for a 1vs1 Joust(I'm level 15), and I was lucky to be against Loki since it's easy to counter his damage if you're anyhow tanky, so I went quin's and greaves + pots at start,
First return had quins finished with a bit to spare on pots, second return I went Deathbringer since I pretty much stomped him, continued with Soul eater for the AS and LS, added an executioner at the end, and decided to add a Witch stone to finish, but the game was over till i had the time to complete it.
Don't build odin as a tank. If you do, you need Quin's and another Pen item as a MINIMUM cause he has ridiculous attack speed rates with his 2(which i maxed second after 3, and leveled his ult over 1), but if you do well you can skip defensive items and get one at the end or have 2 at most.
Got heaps of kills Won heaps of games,
Great build and a great job keep it up :)
