Name: Odin
Title: The Allfather
Pantheon: Norse
Type: Melee, Physical
Roles: Bruiser, Tank
Pros: High Defense, High Sustain
Cons: Low Damage (Unless Built Otherwise)
Mightiest of the Aesir, warrior and king, the All-Father is a doomed God.
It seems strange to imagine a God concerned with his fate, but Odin regularly consults the volva, the seers in the North. They speak of a final war, Ragnarok, when the mightiest Gods are slain and the world is consumed by the sea. For this day, Odin constantly prepares.
The All-Father can trace his lineage to the evil Frost Giant, Ymir, whom he slew with the aid of his two brothers, Vili and Ve, and with his remains forged the world. Atop Asgard, where Odin presides, he is known as the bringer of war, a sage of wisdom, and the keeper of souls slain in battle.
As a warrior, Odin rides his eight legged steed, Sleipnir, and wields the mighty spear Gungnir. Accompanying him are two wolves and his two trusted ravens, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory), who fly around Midgard and return to Odin with all they see and hear.
As a sage, Odin travels disguised as a simple wanderer, seeking wisdom. His thirst for knowledge has come at great personal cost, having been hanged from the branches of Yggdrasil, the world tree, for nine days and nights and sacrificed one of his eyes to the Well of Wisdom.
As keeper of souls, Odin welcomes slain warriors to his mighty hall of Valhalla on the agreement they will aid him at Ragnarok. Favored female warriors become his elite Valkyrie that usher those worthy of entry to Valhalla.
It is in preparation for the final days of Ragnarok he does all this. For the seers claim his death will come at the fangs of the great wolf Fenrir, and like anyone, Odin seeks to change his fate. Yet, never once have the volva been mistaken.

Mana Regeneration - 4.1 (+0.4)
Attacks Per Second - 0.92 (+0.01)
Magic Protection - 30 (+0.9)
Physical Protection - 17 (+3)

Birds of Wisdom - This is you're passive.
Odin's ravens scout an increased radius around himself, increasing his minimap vision radius and giving visibility to enemies within that area.
Ability: Buff Affects: Self Minimap Vision Bonus: 50%
Lunge - This is you're #1 ability.
Odin lunges to his target location, doing damage to all nearby enemies.
Ability: Affects Ground Targets
Damage: Physical - 140/180/220/260/300 (+40% of your physical power)
Radius: 20
Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
Cooldown: 15s/14s/13s/12s/11s
Unless chasing someone or starting a team fight, I normally keep this ready so if someone tries to gank me I have an escape plan.
Odin's Shout - This is you're #2 ability.
Odin gives a commanding roar, rallying his allies. Odin and his allies gain an attack speed buff for a short time.
Ability: Buff Affects - Self & Allies (Including Creeps)
Radius: 35
Attack Speed: 15%/25%/35%/45%/55%
Lifetime: 7s
Cost: 60
Cooldown: 20s/19s/18s/17s/16s
While this is a great move to have I just normally stick with level 1 of this skill for the starting levels since raising it would increase my attack speed by 10% each rank it doesn't increase the time it stays on. Every level it lasts 7 seconds. It really shines after you level and get some gear.
Gungnir's Might - This is you're #3 ability.
This power, while used passively, provides physical protection and some HP5. Upon activation, he does a sweeping melee attack that does damage and slows all enemies around him.
Ability: Area
Affects: Enemy
Damage: Physical - 90/145/200/255/310 (+100% of your physical power)
Radius: 20
Slow: 25%
Slow Duration: 2s
Passive Physical Protection: 10/20/30/40/50
Passive HP5: 4/8/12/16/20
Cost: 65/70/75/80/85
Cooldown: 15s/14s/13s/12s/11s
This is you're bread and butter move in my opinion. You do a small AOE that does good damage, increased by you're attack power, while slowing all enemies by 25% for 2 seconds. That isn't all to this move tho. You get a passive that gets better as you improve this skill. You get a bonus to physical protection and HP5. I max this out first over all other besides the ultimate.
Ring of Spears - This is your #4 ability and your ultimate.
Odin summons a wall of spears, blocking all normal movement. Odin gains protections, physical power and immunity to all crowd control while inside the ring. Pressing the button again will bring down the Ring of Spears.
Ability: Area
Affects: Self
Radius: 30
Protections: 25/40/55/70/85
Physical Power: 35/55/75/95/115
Cost: 100
Cooldown: 75s
I love this ability. Not only do you get more protection and physical power but become immune to CCs while this is active. I use this either when I am close to an enemy god to prevent them from escaping or to trap them in a small area to allow my team to use their ability that can be placed at certain locations. Be careful tho this ability has its downfalls and you must pay attention to you're team when they are around you. You can either trap you're allies in the ring with you and allow the enemy to kill them or you prevent you're allies from helping you with the kill.
Warrior Tabi - These boots give Odin every thing he needs to defeat his enemys. It gives you physical power, critical strike, and attack speed. Plus when maxed it will give you physical penatration.
Focused Voidblade - This is a must have for Odin of all the other items I believe. Not only does it give you good physical defence but it gives you some physical power and to make it even sweeter, when maxed out it gives you a passive that gives you some physical penetration.
Jotunns Wrath - This nice little item is very handy for Odin because it gives Odin everything he needs for damage and gives you're abilites a good cooldown reduction when maxed out.
Shield of Regrowth - I have been enjoying this item since they added it not that long ago. It not only gives you magical protection for survivability but also gives you some physical power and some more HP5. When maxed out it boosts you're HP5 by a godly amount of 100% and with Odin having some of the best HP5 to begin with it makes you really hard to kill unless everyone focuses on you. I like this more then Runic Shield because of that reason.
Soul Eater - This item really has what Odin needs to deal some good damage while making you even harder to kill if that is even possible. Not only does it give you more health, physical lifesteal and attack speed but when maxed out it gives you and all you're allies around you a small physical damage bonus and some physical lifesteal.
Ankh of the Bear - When you get this item you can almost guarentee that no other god will be able to stand up against you. By now you would have almost max physical penetration but now with this item with all the physical protection Odin has normally and the items that you have gotten, when maxed out 15% of you're protection is now added to you're physical damage. If you want to you can get this before Soul Eater but I normally don't.
Consumibles are kinda easy to see which ones you would want. Always keep a few health potions handy and a mana potion wouldn't hurt either early game. Mid game if you want a small bonus to attack and you have some spare gold then a potion of physical might is nice to have but most of the time it is a waste. Late game both elixirs are good to have but the Elixir of Power is a better choice unless you are a tank.
This isn't really Odin's thing. While it wouldn't hurt to grab a jungle buff every now and then, don't take any away from your carry or other damage dealers since they could use it more then you. If nobody is near by and you have the chance then go for it but be careful of enemy gods who creep around in the jungle. They won't be afraid to try and gank you after you pull the mobs.
This is my first guide so I am open to productive criticism. Odin was my starting god is a good god for new and experienced players alike. He is very hard to kill and can kill gods that arn't prepared for him. I have found that he works best with other ranged gods or gods that have an escape move just in case to catch one of them in your ultimate move. I will continue to update the guide as needed and might make a video or other guides if you all feel this guide is good enough. Please don't forget to rate this guide. Good luck all and I hope to see you in game.
