If they are playing 3 tank (warrior/ guardian) wou may want to swap order of executioner and qins, but also may not matter.
I would go this in case you were facind a high healing comp or a lifesteal mage mid such as Hades or Anubis, just note it has less penetration
You want to focus levelling one ability at a time, you want to focus detonate because ot dpes the most damage and can stun which is very quick and usefull in !v!'s, but dont level it first fecause it doesnt AOE which is terrible for lane clear. However you can choose either oft he other abilities for level one, I prefer chain lighning becuase its safer level one but thunderclap will do more damage to wave.

Zeus is one of the most powerful characters in the game, however he is a glass cannon. He has almost no movement options, and no CC Immunity, however I believe he can be played to great effect in all ADC/MID and even SOLO positions but this build will mostly focus on ADC/MID, I will probably add SOLO later, I will also try to keep this updated so feel free to come back to it.
As Mid Zeus you may want to consider swapping out the multi potion at start for a ward, but there are ward rewards from jungle camps so I personally dont.
Your first priority should be clearing wave, then winning poke battle. Zeus's level one clear is pretty easily beat but his leevel 3+ clear in unbeatable, early you should try to prioritize farm until you are a level or two ahead and then you will be able to wreck the other mid, at this point unless thei jungle is going crazy you should be a 1-3 levels above him too, if you get your first item before the other mid you can easily 1v2 if you play it right.

As ADC you really want to clear purple camp first and then focus first wave, try to poke out the enemy adc without taking too much damage from minions or getting to close to enemy SUPP's CC abilities. Basically a lot of this whole role is farming, its really hard to win with ANY ADC from behind. You are also the main objective damage in this role, so structure damage is important.

This build has an AUTO ATTACK focus, this is NOT an ability damage build, even though that is how mid is usually played, i feel this is the best current build for Zeus. I will also make an ability damage Zeus build but it will not be for a min.
The first two items (starter item and Bracer) of this build are focused on setting up the damage of your autos. This is THE BEST 2 item combo for ability damage early.
Your third and seventh items of this build are penetration for tanks.
Your fourth and sixth items are crit-
Demon Blade is a really good on crit stim
DeathBringer makes all of your crits do more damage outright
Bloodforge is for Survivability since Zeus does not have much.
As Zeus late game you really want to stick with a tank, preferably the more CC abilities they have the better, more than likely you will be the number one target of the whole game. You want to do damage but play your life at all costs, use your ult to sway teamfights/ secure jungle objectives. If you find yourself ahead and have decent ward coverage feel free to gank your sidelanes, as mid has access to most farm on map your level advantage could easily influence and carry the entire map. With this build specifically you can also take towers like a maniac mid to late game, especially if you pop your second ability as it gives an atack speed stim.
In ranked, especially in the early slimb your prize bans are gonna be (in my personal priority); Hun Batz, Loki, and then Thana. Your main issue in ranked games most likely wont be other mid at all and will be primarily be the jungle, and as mid you cant even really build any items to prevent this, which can suck. But the plus side is that the counter is a non build item and costs 50 gold, Wards are used to see where enemies are in the jungle and they are Zeus's best friend, he doesnt love Hera, or his brothers, he loves Wards.
There are a few mids he can struggle against early, mainly being Agni who can outrange him, for agni I would highly consider getting a health chalice and maybe upping your lifesteal item in build order so that his constant long range poke will be offput a little by self sustain.
Others he might have trouble against are Hades and Anubis, who have really good starting clear and their own self sustain to counter Zeus's poke, and both have ults that just outright beat pretty much everything Zeus got early on, I would suggest the anti heal build I provided and try to play safe for late game teamfights where you and adc can one shot them and thaie healing doesnt matter, because theyre getting one shot.
