Zeus throws his shield forward dealing damage to nearby enemies and apply a charge. The shield remains for 5s, and Zeus may target it with Basic Attacks or Chain Lightning. Each Basic Attack or first Chain Lightning arc that hits the shield will deal additional static damage and apply a charge in the area. While Zeus' shield is deployed, he gains Attack and Movement Speed. Zeus may refire the ability to recall the shield early.

Summary

This is a build I discovered when I was experimenting with AD mages build during arena.
With this build Zeus will basically become a rifle of crits and still unleash strong damage from his detonation.
His detonation by end game will do around 200-400 damage on full 3 stacks while basic attacks will roughlly hit around 600-700 crits which will primarily be used until the enemy attempts to run, thus using your detonate to take the kill.
With frost bound it ensures quick, and easy kills because of the slow and if you feel that they are still able to run away, you have an option of buying creeping curse.
The first time I tested this build, I kid you not, I went 33-0
You can use these builds as well but I was just experimenting.

Early Game

Try to grab speed buff for faster attack and escape.
During early game your best bet is to play passively unless laning with hades, ymir and sobek.
You're going to rely on minions to support you when being pushed and when their minions are almost clear add 3 stacks to one of the enemy gods and try to run back letting minions do additional damage then you can detonate.
Don't expect to be powerful early game because at this point you are weak and squishy.

Mid Game

Once you've taken a tower you should be around level 10-16 this is when you can start roaming/ganking. You can do good damage if you've build enough critical. At this point you can jungle rapidly so I suggest you go for cool-down, speed, and attack buff.

Late Game

At this point with full or almost full build you should do massive damage so most gods stand no chance against you even tanks. But if you find yourself having trouble you can replace quins blade or frost bound with a better penetration item.

Physical Power has 0 effect on Zues's auto attack. This build is equivalent to buying no items at all.
