Minion clearing:
Osiris is horrible at doing damage and that will also translate into his ability to clear a wave there are tricks to clearing a wave.
minions do physical damage items like breastplate can help protect you
1. Spirit Flail the archers as there damage output is higher and will allow osiris to move around the lane freely once they are killed
2. It is possible to Single shot the archers with Very high power items minions are not effected by penetration and will get more bulky as the clock runs.
3. Osiris has Basic attacks that will stun the minions for a short time with 20% attack speed from ninja tabi which are the best boots for wave clearing. The minions won't have a chance to fight back.
4.Items mystical mail/odysseus bow will clear minions and do amazing god damage
5.starter item deaths toll is essential for minion clearing because it lowers damage taken. although in joust osiris is not used to wave clear.
6.starter item mark of the vanguard will lower minion damage heeps without needing to basic attack anything.
7.Positioning as osiris is key to clearing a minion wave standing next to the enemy archers and then hitting a enemy god will group up all minions then you can spirit flail a the whole wave at once or stand at your own archers and hitting a god will often group up enemy minions enough to spirit flail also running into a moving wave will agro and group up the minions but with all styles osiris will take minion damage.
Passive:
1.osiris has an awesome passive damage resistance plus a super fatalis but with only 8 hits try to avoid wasting such a powerful passive if possible. Osiris with no stacks on his passive is very easy to kill.
2.Maximise on either slowing enemies,increasing movement speed, critical damage or cooldowns to aviod any missed opportunities with this passive.
3.Passive will calculate on damage used by enemy god before protection drops that enemies damage down to what the damage will hit you for. eg yimir ult dish's out (1000) damage but the number says 400 damage because you have some protection. The 1000 damage number is reduced before protection is valued.
4.Because of how osiris's passive calculates damage by lower damage before protections calculate. Osiris defensively gets more protection from protection more then he would from health.
5.Stacking mitigations with items like spirit robe is a very good idea to save gold and boost defence
Burst damage:
1. Osiris can ability burst !!
Most Osiris just use there abilitys for slows but if you want to ability burst here what you do first build ("BLUESTONE PENDANT") and some form of (Flat penetration or 50 stack transcendence) there are times were bluestone's 800 price tag is more of a hindrance the an asset. also level Osiris's sickle strike up so that its almost on the same level as his spirit flail is example""
level 3 spirit flail level 3 sickle strike level 1 Judgement Tether level 2 Lord of the Afterlife"" then at level 5 or 9 or as close as you can get to 5 or 9 when your Ultimate gets to level up.
Attack with a burst of - Sickle Strike > Spirt flail > Lord of the Afterlife > Judgement Tether > sickle stricke that little burst will do at least 50% health to almost any god without defence that is on the same level as you are.
To give you some idea level 9 osiris with 3 lvls in sickle strike and 3 lvls in spirit flail and 2 lvls in Lord of the Afterlife with a build of (Fatalis and brawlers beatstick) or (warrior tabi + brawlers beatstick) or (50stack transcendence + warrior tabi) or (warrior tabi + Qins sais) or probably your best option >>(warrior tabi + jotunns wrath) all do around 50% health to a max 100stack warlock sash scylla lvl 9. With an osiris abilty burst combo
Sickle Strike > Spirt flail > Lord of the Afterlife > Sickle Strike = 53% health VS 100stacks warlock sash scylla lvl 9 thats without including bluestone pendant.
NOTE: Excluding bluestone. Exactly 6 more basics after the burst will secure the kill on scylla lvl 9 all 6 can be passive fatalis boosted all and its 6 basics with all of those builds excepting (fatalis and brawlers beatstick)
Combat:
1. learn to know which gods to auto attack and which gods to ability poke osiris's auto attack is where most of his damage is..
But osiris has also got an awesome poke to bully some gods without needing to risk yourself and stick your neck out.
-scylla,anubuis,posidion,cupid anyone with low physical defence in there base stats.
Spirit flail can control a joust VS enemys with low defense stats early game.

Qin sais is often used on osiris due to osiris's very high base attack speed stat but osiris has not really got the highest caliber of attack speed because he has no stim/buff that raise's his attack speed.
note:
Qin sias takes 25 hits to kill an enemy without healing if it where true damage but it's not qin sais is just like another basic hit at 4% of an enemy gods health and that 4% is mitigated by protections so if you have no penetration and an enemy god has 100 protection stat qin sais is only 2% of there health and qin sais is effected by your penetration.
Qin sais should be compared to malice. malice is capable of 300 pyhsical damage and qin sais is capable of 200 pyhsical damage

90 power warrior boots + qin sais vs 1000 health = 40 extra basic attack damage (Every single hit)
malice + warrior boots 90 power = 67.5 extra basic attack damage (Every critical hit)
Odysseus bow + warrior boots at lvl 5 on osiris 40 power = 75 extra basic attack damage (Every 4 hits)
Odysseus calc: Progression 2.25xlvl+39+TotalPower, 2.25x5=11.25, 11.25+39=50.25, 50.25+40=90.25 total basic damage at lvl 5 with 40 power is 90.25
50% of basic damage: 90.25 divided by 2 = 45.125
30+50% basic damage: 30+45.125 = 75.125
chain lightning damage: 75

Counter qin sias with protections and items such as mark of the vanguard,frostbound,witchblade and healing/lifesteal

Odysseus calc: Progression 2.25xlvl+39+TotalPower, 2.25x5=11.25, 11.25+39=50.25, 50.25+40=90.25 total basic damage at lvl 5 with 40 power is 90.25

Mages with warlock sashs and breastplate of valour are insanely hard to deal with.! as a warrior. A warriors main role/job is to jump on a squishy mage and kill them. but a mage is most of the time the tank killer with a very high damage output but with warlock sash and breastplate of valour a mage is not to be jumped on as they have:
2400+ health
125+ physical protection
Half of maximum bulkness: 2400hp/125def
The total maximum bulkness: 5500hp/325def
100 protection will halve any damage received
Eg.2400hp/100defence Qin sia's passive will need to pop 50 times to do 2400.
2400x0.04 =96 damage (4%health is 96)
96/2 =48 (100 protection will halve Qin sia's passive 4% is now 2%)
48x50 =2400
high Protection will counter:
- Qin sias
- Critical hits
- Flat penetration
- High power
How to beat high Protection:
- A higher power and penetration percentage% items
- high damage output attacks and abilities and penetration percentage% items
- Flat penetration items max at 50pen. Don't bother with flat penetration
high health and low protection counter penetration percentage items.

-Osiris is not a high damage tank killing god. Osiris best damage is in his basic attacks. SO try a tank buster kit
A Theoretical best case scenario's:
heavily invested ability damage a possible 10 ability hits at 250 damage 10% health lasting a minute in Cooldowns and reciveing huge damage from a mage poke.
or
heavily invested in basic attacks possible 13 full 1X damage basic hits at about 200 damage about 10% health. lasting less then a minute but leaving osiris highly exposed to maximum mage damage.

Point is it will almost never be best case scenario and the mage will be a better damager and defender then you can be with osiris. Generally a mage will be less equip to deal with other high damage gods thats why the mage won't usually build bulk.
Stats:
Negative's
-Osiris is not a powerful god osiris is frail.
-He has a strong basic attack damage but a weak basic attack (chain/progression).
-Osiris has Weak abilities makes his overall damage stats very weak and will underperform against bulky opponents.
Positive's.
-Osiris is useful he has high mana,high attack speed,phantom walking and a 4 hit basic combo with 2 AOE's
-Osiris can kill hunter,assassins,mages extremely well with a long consistent onslaught of basic attacks/abilities and judgment tether while being stuck to a victim like glue.
-Enemies of osiris will find no safety hiding in a wave of minions.
Mana: Osiris is one of the few physical attacking gods that can hit 400 base power. To bad osiris has no strong attacks just lots of little attacks
NOTE Transcendence: even without stacks on osiris is almost as powerful as bloodforge and may be a useful late game item.

I like to think of osiris as a god with.
-The poke potential of chaac
-The basic attack potential of erlang shen
-Unspecialised and lesser at both poke and basic attacks.
-Osiris gets a fatals and a slow kit and a huge god breaking TETHER!.
Skills breakdown
Sickle Strike:
Upgrading the sickle(1) on osiris is only really for cooldown builds as it will allow osiris to sickle>Spirit Flail>sickle(1,2,1) an enemy god at 20% cooldown. For a 60% slow.also osiris with 40% cooldown can use sickle strike to get a infinite slow chain
Spirit Flail:
Spirt Flail is osiris's entire kit the flail is the total contribution osiris has to offer the team in the early game and is a high physical poking damage.Spirt Flail has a 10s cooldown making it similar to Chaac's thunder strike with a slow but Spirt Flail is slightly weaker and half the radius. Warning if upgraded heavily early game spirit flail will use a lot of mana
note:i just invest everything in Spirit Flail and Judgment Tether though with osiris as with most gods you will achieve maximum damage output if you upgrade Sickle Strike and Spirit Flail evenly but that will requires you to land both abilities on a target in order to take advantage of your higher ability split damage output.
Judgement Tether:
osiris's tether is very important to osiris's overall success if an enemy is tether osiris is likely to win. If an opponent is not tether osiris will surly lose. use the wrath relic on a tethered enemy to land the teather stun and achieve double stun's action, this abilities is mostly used to easily stop the enemies from clearing a wave example the ability to start towerdiveing a RA. but also acts as a good deterrence on enemy jungle attempts or like a shell relic in a fight
Lord of the Afterlife:
osiris's ULT will not really hard counter healers such as hell,Aphrodite,change'e but osiris ULT is an amazing counter to lifesteal heavy gods or build's.
Osiris support may be necessary if your team needs a bulk if you do decide to go with a supporting bulk role heres some important notes.
1.POWER get enough power so that your not ignored because osiris has not got any effective CC.
2.Get stone on gia for early game sustain.
3.Health bulk is often the best bulk at lower levels and gets progressively less effective but on osiris protection is stronger with passive some stacks.
4.Mark of the vanguard counters high amounts of D.O.T damage and offers almost an immunity to minion damage
5.super bulk only works on gods with CC and any team that knows how to build will kill a full build super tank in no time. Super quick
Partnerd with hel changes osiris's potential completely!
When partnered osiris is possible the best physical poke god in the game.
-his play-style will gravitate towards high poke damage with warrior boots and items such as transcendence,bloodforge,Brawlers beatstick,joltuns wrath,void shield.titans bane
osiris will play like a chang'e because of hels movement speed buff. osiris will have an Overpowed and consistant poke with transcendence. Unmatched boxing and finishing. both hel and osiris have a surprising amount of slowing CC and hel can lower a enemies defences.
An example of an Osiris focused/benefiting team - HEL/HOU YI/OSIRIS
Hel- Green for sustaining and supporting and slowing/shredding defence's plus additional minion clear and high damage.
Hou yi- Orange for minion and objective killing additional high damage poke and also adding damage to marked enemies.
Osiris - Red for being the teams main slayer and doing anything he wants whenever he wants.
