Hello everyone, hope you're doing so good.
This time I bring you a build for persephone that I haven't updated for a while. I think there are certain items that are generally good for all mages and that are the most standard, but we are going to propose another type of build that can work.
I know that many want to level up Bone Rush first, which is not bad, but practically speaking, it is not the main damage skill.
Most likely the damage we do is with plants, or at least that should be our goal. Bone Rush serves to clear lanes and do damage in teamfights. But if we have the ability to do damage at a distance in our lane, it is better to take advantage of this opportunity to reduce the risk of exposing ourselves.
Therefore, the order of priority will be: Harvest, Bone Rush and Floruish (of course every time you can level up your ulti you must do it).
This build I think works with almost any mage and is very good, obviously with some changes depending on the god you play with.
The build is basically focused on cooldown and Book of Thoth stacks, which when you reach level 20, with the Pendulum of Ages passive, the damage scales very fast.
Whenever you are about to reach level 20, I recommend saving up to get the upgraded item because it really makes a difference in the game, plus it gives you 10% cooldown so we will be able to spam more abilities.
The purpose of Staff of Myrddin is more for teamfighting, trying to use Persephone's ulti as a way to engage or something like that, but in situations where after using the ulti you can stay doing damage.
The best combination for this build is: Gasp of Death, Harvest, Bone Rush and Flourish and you will destroy the enemy that has fallen into the ulti because you will have the Staff of Myrddin boost.
The second build is thought in a more balanced way between magical penetration and cooldown, considering that build 1 we only have one penetration item. You probably won't be able to spam skills as much as with build 1 (we still only have 10% less cooldown compared to the other build) which isn't really that much because we're not really spamming skills all the time either.
I chose Archmage's Gem because I feel that the extra damage can have a good synergy with all the penetration we are going to have since they changed it and now it does 1,5% and not 1% of our magical damage.
Gem of Focus is a good item to consider if you don't like Archmage's Gem that much!
