hello, this is my first guide here on Smitefire.com. iv been playing smite for a while now, and feel like i have a good understanding of the game, and just about all the gods, some obviously more than others.
that being said. Sun Wu is one of the gods i think i have a good grasp on and understand his limitations and where he excels. Sun is one of the more fun gods to play in arena, imo. iv played quite a bit with him in arena and feel i have a good enough understanding of this god to warrant this little guide here.
being an arena guide, i wont really go toooo much into strategy..... i mean cmon its arena... kill them and try to not let them kill you, fairly simple.
+1 if you find this build or info useful, please. and any feedback/comments/questions post here and ill try to answer/respond the best i can.
thanks for reading, peace, sun. :)
PO#1 - my go to sun build for your average arena opponents.
PO#2 - they got tanks eh? ever 3 - 4 shot a tank Ymir?
PO#3 - so they have a bunch of AD? Sun-Wu, Loki, Bakasura , Anhur, etc...
as for the Abilities, i suppose if you really want to, you can buy Meditation, however i feel its a waste as i never end up using it past level 6 - 8 or so, if that.
i buy abilities based on which gods i'm against. ares, Hades, etc... get Purification Beads for sure. Aegis Amulet is also very handy if you happen to get stuck where you know someones big ult is coming and you cant leap out of the way for whatever reason.
if you are just plain dominating, sprint or Heavenly Agility are nice to chase people down, or to escape.
i almost always get Creeping Curse. i feel this ability is a better use of gold than bothering with Frostbound Hammer.
and by all mean use the CONSUMABLES! they can make a big difference. once my items are pretty much done, ill grab a potion of physical might and if i get fed enough to afford Elixir of Power ill grab one, and in the rare chance i end up with another 3k after the first 2 pots ill get an Elixir of Defense
as for skills, the reason i dont max Year Of The Monkey first is. this particular ult is not used for the damage it does, which is very little. so i think after 1 point at level 5, capping Furious Monkey and Somersault for the cooldown time reduction, is more important. also your Ult only does a little more damage when leveled up.
you are just after the huge radius fear+snare. and any damage it may do is just a bonus. but that few seconds less of a cooldown on Somersault is sooo very nice when you need to escape, or even to initiate.
please up vote if you find any of this information beneficial, be it the builds, or ability suggestions, or the skill purchase order. and any criticism please try to post any in a constructive way... i dont know everything about this game, as im sure the vast majority doesnt either... im definitely always open to suggestions aslong as they are actually constructive. so please if you dont like this build/guide, and are just going to post trollish ********. please just dont bother posting anything as it wont help anyone, except to make you look like a child.
thanks for reading!
peace, sun!
