Also, please comment your SUGGESTIONS!
Two of those three items in the relics section of the build are supposed to be purchased at the start of the game and at level twelve.
THANK YOU!

Hello and welcome to my first build!
This guide is for a Powerful Health/Mana + Power Build!
I hope that you can learn something here!
The items I chose for Raijin are based completely on what i think will work with this god.
First- The Boots. Shoes of Focus provide the most needed buffs for Raijin, in my opinion. Cooldown rate and Mana buffs are very helpful, paired with the movement speed and magic power.
Second- The Pendant. Yes. You need this item, it gives you a huge boost in CDR (Cooldown Rate), MP5, and Magical Power for its price.
Third/Fourth- The Sash. What I consider the best Health/Mana item invented. Huge amounts of Mana and Health will be added to your stats after you buy this item. You can even get more Health/Mana by killing enemy gods and minions, Jungle Camps too.
Third/Fourth- The Staff. Another amazing Health/Mana item. This item also provides, on top of Health and Mana, a huge boost in Magical Power! Precisely 2.5% of Raijin's total Health in Magical Power!
Fifth- The Shard. 33% magical Penetration is overkill with this item. Your attacks hit so much harder after you purchase this. With this item, your attacks and abilities will ignore 33% of the enemy's magical protection. So fire away!
Sixth- The Talon. A great item for healing when low and Magical Power. This item gives you a 12% buff in Magical Lifesteal, which can help you in tough situations. It also grants 100 Magical Power + 1 Magical Power for 1% of your missing Health.
The Swapables- The Shoes of the Magi and the Rod of Tahuti. These items can be switched out for more Magical Power rather than CDR and Mana.
The reason I have you building Raiju first is listed below.
First Things First...
This New God has amazing abilities to pair with his amazing face.
Okay... Seriously.
I have you building Raiju first because it provides a huge damage buff when combo-ing skills.
WHAT THE SKILLS & PASSIVE DO!
Press "k".
A tip on the passive- Charge it up before you enter a fight so that your first ability will do extra damage.
SOME TIPS AND TRICKS!
Some tips on your team work!
First- Because of Thunder Crash's Stun, you can hold enemies in a position for that brief moment your teammate would need to get that enemy in range, or to take them down.
Second- If you can aim it right. use Raiju and Thunder Crash to get a MAJOR damage boost and a stun on an enemy. This will lower that enemy for a teammate to take down or for you to get the finishing blow.
Third- Your Ultimate, Taiko Drums, can be used to save teammates by fearing enemies 4 times. It can also be used to taunt an enemy closer for you and your teammate's benefit! Or you can just blast him fullout with your "1" key ;).
MORE TO COME!
So far, Raijin has been one of my favorite gods to play as!
I hope you enjoy him too, with the build I have created for you!
I will be updating and responding to comments and questions!
Thanks for reading!!!

my build is book, poly, chrono, magi boots, rod, and dseo.
sometimes ill change it up and go book, focus, chrono, soul, rod and deso.
however my 1st build is my fav. early game do your 2/3 combo and then your 1, with the poly proc its nice. end game poly procs 400 or more. ENJOY
An idea to get a huge burst on someone. Based on that the fact that most people won't retreat unless they have already taken a bit of damage. Get your passive to four stacks then use your Raiju(2). Get your passive back to four stacks(not hitting them of course as it would activate Raiju, go hit some minions or another god) then use your Percussion Drums(1) or your Taiko Drums(4) and press one for your first shot. The Raiju gets increased damage and so does your first shot from your next ability. I have used this to blow up mages/hunters/buff camps.
you realize that his passive isnt 30% ability scaling right? tooltip in game is wrong.

Thank you for posting that! I'll add it to the "Skills & Passive" section.
Gonna downvote this one. I don't build health on Raijin and still rarely die. I build power on top of power with only 10% cooldown from Shoes of Focus. Spear of Desolation is a must have on him in my opinion. It gives you 8s of cooldown on a kill (which you should be getting a lot of), on top of the inane 120 power and 20 flat pen. I've gotten multiple triple kills in joust with him using the Spear that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to pull off.
Thank you for your input! Keep in mind that this guide will continue to be updated with other joust builds that I believe Raijin can use! I sometimes switch my shoes with the shoes of the magi and my pendant with the rod of tahuti. I was thinking about changing and adding some things.
When i tested this build out i quickly found myself missing 300 to 400 Magical power by missing out on it where as if you build it you will have that much more magical power. the item i switched out for the Rod was firstly Obsidian shard. however having no Penetration is rather dangerous but it was here i achieved the biggest Magical power around 800 on low health without any Consumeables to boost my power. with consumeables i would think id hit 1k.
Second item i switched out was the Bancroft Talon, however being a core item in this build as it is i could not switch it out as it would give a huge amount of Magic damage on low health plus my only means of getting Health back. I then resorted to remove Chronos pendant being that it does not really give that much Magic power you get it mostly for the CDR.
What i achieved by doing this was the perfect combination and balance of everything with all the core items about 800 Magical power and one shot potentional however Raijin being this massive burst of raw power as he is has a lot of CDR. The flaw with this final build i came to was deffenetly the lack of those 25% CDR on the other hand i can mostly one shot anything coming my way and i can survive being in battle for a longer period of time.
Conclusion do you wanna sacrifice 25% CDR for 300 to 400 more magic damage or is the CDR too fatal to lose but in that case is it not good to have a lot of Damage in the first place? And on the other hand even with 40% CDR reduction hes 1 still has 9 sec hes 2 got 10.8 hes 3 around 7 i dont remember but it isnt that important and hes ult 54 sec. Most battles are short termed so you have to ask yourself is it really worth it? But yes overall great build i guess it will depend on situation what i end up building if i can miss out on Obsidian or Chronos or tahuti it all depends.
Why prioritize his second skill over his first?I'm fairly new to him and it would be nice to explain it to me.
Very high damage and scaling on his 2, compared to his 1, so maxing it earlier gives him high kill potential (and great wave clear) earlier on
