Again with the walls and his tremor ability knocking you off course. But then its an ultimate for an ultimate trade, just have beads at the ready

You dash is not a leap, so all walls are dangerous. Only way out is to bust out the ultimate

Can easily chase you down with his ulti no matter how far you get away. Mobility means nothing.

If out of position, she can catch up. Her taunt keeps enemies close. Overall good support, so surprise! She's good with Jing Wei

Her ultimate can help keep enemies caged for your ultimate. Her stun and slow are also useful.

This guide is not going to be doing anything new, and that's ok in regards to the Jingster. She is a God that plays it safe in the early game, builds up her crit, and then chases down her enemies in the late game. Now, why am I making this guide then, if she's nothing new? I believe, that with the removal of boots, we are going to see a slight uptick in Jing Wei's use because of her passive: Rapid Reincarnation.
Jing Wei's passive lets her fly up when she leaves the fountain for a small amount of time with increased movement speed and obstacle avoidance for those who don't know. In the new mid-season patch, with the removal of boots, I think that this ability will help stay competitive in the early game. But, we will also have to wait and see what happens next as things are going to be crazy unpredictable.
On Jing Wei, the items are going to be pretty standard. It doesn't matter if crit is meta or not, crit is what you build on Jing Wei. This is because her second ability, explosive bolts, ups your crit chance as you level it up (This is built into her kit). I recommended Devo Gloves here as your stacking item, but transcendence will do you just as fine. As for the crit items themselves, the Winddemon and Deathbringer combo is pretty standard, and with Jing Wei, adding on a Rage can be a little redundant. Her two will mean that you overcap the crit chance, so instead, I recommend using the spot for more lifesteal or penetration.
As for Asi and Executioner, both items were meta before, and I personally don't see any crazy changes to their viability. They also pair well with the Crit build at its base, and with Jing Wei's overall playstyle (crit, crit, and mobility). With the removal of boots, I'd recommend going for the Asi and Executioner pairing so that you get the super high lifesteal and protection shredding, and then the crit.
Jing Wei is a Deity with a lot of speed buffing in her movement and attack speed. A common combo would be popping the two, dropping her one, stepping into it, and then using the enhanced three when knocked up to go extra far. With that is a crit chance buff, attack speed buff, and power buff. Late game, with a full build, the three explosive shots Jing has can absolutely shred a squishy.
Other uses include getting away, especially in situations with Gods with Knock-up. Jing Wei is one of the few characters with an easy escape from that CC. Her ultimate is also very good as a CC immune escape that takes her into the air. This means she can continue to chase down her enemies and leap away from danger. Just be quick about it, or else the enemy will follow you while you sit up in your ultimate.
Jing Wei has some great pros, but heavy cons in return, many featured around her mobility.
Pros:
- Good for chasing down the enemy
- Synergizes well with any Crit Meta
- Gets away from CC well with ulti and three abilities.
- Gets out of Fountain super fast to return to the battlefield
Cons:
- Easily moves out of position/gets lured while chasing an enemy
- Super squishy target that is also easily shredded
- Relies on Crit chance, which can require being lucky at the game
Jing Wei can do major damage but is also liable to get taken out. Thankfully, she's one of the safer ADC's out there with her ultimate, knock-up escape, and return-to-fight capabilities. Just keep calm, build crit, and bide your time till you are working at full capacity. Don't get lured by your opponents and always have an escape at the ready. With those simple tips and ideas in mind, Jing Wei can always be a reliable hunter in any situation.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
