Eye Of The Jungle offers no mana sustain, so similarly to 
Leather Cowl you're going to need some mana pots, you could very well buy a third mana pot, or you could change the mana pots for multi potions instead. This build is designed for late game team-fighting in and around the Oni fury and Fire giant, as you know; objectives win games.
Protector Of The Jungle has excellent synergy with 
Enfeeble & 
Shifting Sands if you take this in combination with a high power build / AS build from items such Protector Of The Jungle - Berserker's Shield Devourer's Gauntlet and Ichaival then what you have is an absolutely devastating amount of kill potential when in the jungle fighting in and around the fire giant and gold fury.
