Notes So when starting out depending on if the have very heavy CC gods pick blink or beads.
The best starting route for Arachne is to hide behind the enemy red buff and right after the they kill red buff the mid player will walk out to his lane and before he gets there web him with your 3 and easy kill.

Notes So after you finish your build and get into late game be aware the Arachne will fall off some and you will have to pick your fights.
When your team gets in team fights you CAN NOT be in the mid of the fight cause you will die (you soft and the enemy team will focus you if they see you. instead you should be looking for picks in the enemy back line during team fights.

Arachne shoots a line of Web forward. She is Immune to Slows and moves faster on Web. If the Web reaches max range a Web trap will spawn. Enemy gods who walk through the trap or get hit by the projectile are Slowed by 15%, revealed to Arachne, leave a trail of Web behind them, and are attacked by Pet Broodlings. Arachne can only have 3 Web traps or projectiles active at a time.

She may leap off the web to deal damage to all enemies in the target area and create a large web around the target area. The web area provides the same slow to enemies and benefit to Arachne as her Web Trail.

Arachne may activate Ability 1 and 2 while running on this web.

the fact that this is the most upvoted Arachne guide is painful, we need someone to actually make a good Arachne guide to beat it.

This is only the most upvoted guide for the current patch. Other builds/guides that just haven't been updated recently have much more (e.g. fraser424 has 81 upvotes but was last updated in January, Zx Eternal xZ has 112, last updated in July).

But yes, the skill leveling is not nearly optimal. A crit build can be fun but is usually less functional than a power/pen/AS build. I also don't like the late-game sub of in a crit build. 0 power items combined with crits don't help crit damage at all...with crits being a multiplier on base damage, you usually want high power to help with that. And finally, Med Cloak as a relic (whether first or second) is not a good choice.
