You can swap Divine Ruin out for Magus if there is little to no enemy healing but its usually a must, Soul Gem can be bought before Soul Reaver if you'd like. Sell your boots for some pen like Obsidian Shard once you've got the Speed Potion.
Run this build if the enemy has practically no healers or lifesteal.
These aren't fantastic options but they may work for your playstyle, mix & match them to find what works for you, do this if you're wanting to go the next level, building your own build.
As stated earlier, sell boots for Speed Pot and Obsidian Shard for extra pen.

Scylla is a great Mage with high Burst damage in comparison to most Mages, her abilities have some wide range to them too as well as some extra cc to help out a team, you can slow and root enemies as well as the ability to use your dash as a temporary ward. Scylla in Mid Conquest is fairly simple and she works very well for aggressive players due to her ability to escape very easily. Scylla is great for players just starting out as she provides pressure easily and allows you to get to other lanes easily to pressure. Scylla players like to step in, drop both abilities and maybe an ult depending on the situation followed by a dash escape, in and out simply :)
Strengths:
- Great Clear with 1 Ability
- Very safe, great escape options
- Decent Pressure
- Great Late Game
Weaknesses:
- Can't kill tanky enemies exceptionally
- Unsafe early game until you reach level 3
On Scylla you'll be using pretty basic Relic knowledge, to start you'll probably want to build Beads unless you're against certain Mages who have ults that would require you to get Aegis, such as Poseidon with his Kraken Ult, other than that Beads first and Aegis second.
Start with Mage's Blessing, Magic Focus, 2 Healing Potions, a Mana Potion (You can get 2 Mana Potions and 1 Healing Potion if you spam abilities a lot) and Beads (Aegis depending on circumstance).
Go to Speed Buff to help Jungler clear it and then go to lane, farm waves as usual. Once you get Sic Em you can pressure and if you get a hit on the enemy with it you can probably get a kill off with Crush.
Collect Red buff when your Jungler gets it for you, you can get it sometimes too if you have time inbetween waves, if you kill the enemy Mid laner and you know the jungler is elsewhere you can try steal enemy red and run back to lane.
Rush Boots firstly, once you've done that start building up your arsenal, if your teammates need help elsewhere try and clear wave and go help as soon as possible, you have good enough mobility to get around.
Finally, make sure to pressure the enemy Mid laner if you've been successful at getting an early kill or two on them, try and make them hide in tower where they have to wait for Minions to go in and get hit by tower, they'll lose farm and you'll get ahead, if you ever get a Sic Em hit capitalise on it with Crush and some basics, an ult too if they're low enough and you're confident you can hit it.
As Scylla you want to make sure you're constantly pressuring your enemy Mid Laner and getting some poke on the enemy Jungler if they ever pass by, pressure other lanes if needed and always stay safe. In a team fight you want to be staying near the back, Sic Em can root multiple enemies at once at max rank and you can capitalise on this with Crush and then you can start ulting for the team wipe penta. If you're ever attacked just disengage with your dash, its amazing.
Try and poke the enemy at all times with Crush and Sic Em whilst getting waves or inbetween getting waves, it'll put them low enough for you to just pop them with your ult or another Crush.
Combo Sic Em into Crush into Ult for a certified kill, probably.
Focus Squishies, you can just combo your ult from 1 squishy to the next, by the time you're done there'll be a Support and Solo all alone.
At the time of this guide, Scylla isn't one of the top Mages for Mid yet she does exceptionally well if played safely and correctly, your team doesn't necessarily have to build around her, maybe just a couple of stuns will help.
