Playing Scylla with this build in Smite offers immense burst damage and strong mana sustain, making her a formidable mid-to-late-game mage. However, her fragility, reliance on positioning, and high skill cap require careful play and good team coordination!!

Pros and Cons of Playing Scylla with This Build in Smite
Pros
High Burst Damage
The build focuses on items like Book of Thoth, Spear of Desolation, Polynomicon, Soul Reaver, and Obsidian Shard which significantly enhance Scylla's magical power and burst potential. This makes her capable of deleting squishy targets quickly.
Mana Sustain
Book of Thoth provides a large mana pool and mana regeneration, ensuring Scylla can continuously use her abilities without worrying about mana issues.
Cooldown Reduction
Spear of Desolation and Chronos' Pendant (if included) reduce cooldowns, allowing Scylla to use her abilities more frequently. This is crucial for maintaining consistent damage output and crowd control.
High Magical Penetration
Obsidian Shard and Spear of Desolation provide significant magical penetration, enabling Scylla to deal substantial damage even to tanky opponents with high magical defenses.
Enhanced Basic Attacks
Polynomicon adds a powerful burst to Scylla's basic attacks after using an ability, providing an extra source of damage that synergizes well with her kit.
Anti-Tank Capabilities
Soul Reaver deals additional damage based on the target's maximum health, making it effective against tanky enemies with large health pools.
Cons
Fragility
Scylla is naturally squishy and can be easily targeted and killed if caught out of position. This build does not include many defensive items, making her vulnerable to burst damage and crowd control.
Positioning Reliant
Scylla's effectiveness heavily depends on her positioning. To maximize her damage output, she needs to maintain a safe distance while still being close enough to hit her abilities accurately.
High Skill Cap
Scylla’s abilities require precise aiming and timing. Missing key abilities like Crush or Sic 'Em can significantly reduce her damage output and leave her vulnerable.
Reliance on Cooldowns
Despite the cooldown reduction from items, Scylla’s abilities have relatively long cooldowns. If her abilities are on cooldown, her damage output is greatly diminished, and she becomes an easier target.
Early Game Vulnerability
Scylla is relatively weak in the early game and relies on item power spikes to become effective. This build requires careful farming and avoiding unnecessary deaths to reach her full potential.
Dependence on Team
Scylla benefits greatly from a team that can provide peel and crowd control. Without proper support from her team, she can be easily focused down by the enemy.
Summary
Playing Scylla with this build in Smite offers immense burst damage and strong mana sustain, making her a formidable mid-to-late-game mage. However, her fragility, reliance on positioning, and high skill cap require careful play and good team coordination to maximize her effectiveness. Balancing her offensive power with situational awareness and positioning will be key to succeeding with Scylla using this build.
