Introduction

Hello guys! My name is Lucas, My IGN is SeetherWins, if you have ANY questions about the guide

or want tips on cupid let me know by PMing on SMITe, or just put up a comment and ill get to

it as soon as i can. Cupid was the FIRST god that i bought, so i have quite a bit of

experience considering that he was ALL i played lol xD. So lemme start this off by telling you

why i made this guide. i made this guide for all the people who can't quite get the ''hang''

of him or just bought him because you probally have been hearing that Cupid is op. lol by all

means he is not, he has FANTASTIC sustainability because of his hearts, but he is quite

squishy, not AS squishy as He Bo but he is not op.... So sit back and enjoy guys! <3

Items

Now this section is about WHY i chose these items.First of all i chose the boots because of

course i use them for ALL my physical Gods, the only other option POSSIBLE would be the

boots that give you increased movement speed after being out of combat wich i think its

pretty pointless unless maybe you were a jungler. Actually first let me explain i grab my

meditation ability, grade one boots and 5 health pots or maybe for cupid 5 mana pots at the

very beginning of the game.Ok so why do i grab meditation, IMO its the best ability for

LANING wise, but i mean, you can maybe replace it with Girdle of Might but i like to have

mana when i need it so that is why i grab that. And the 5 health pots of course are for

sustainability/life.Ok so after i go b or if you die, you should get the rest of your boots

first off.Now the next item is devourers gloves. ITS VERY IMPORTANT you get these as your

first item other than boots in the laning phase. because you need to farm to make these a

better choice than souleater. now if your farming a bit slow and you don't have time to get

your stacks i suggest saying screw it and go with the souleater. Ok now the Deathbringer.

its one of my FAVORITE items because i start to do soooooo much MOAR damage when i buy this.

its a very good item and i highly reccommend buying it. OK now the brawlers beatstick. I Go

with this because i started looking for items with more crit chance/crit damage and i found

this and thought it was amazing. LIFE STEAL AND CRIT CHANCE....OP lol.i got Quins blade

because its a standard item for physical auto attacks especialy for artemis/cupid because it

gives you attack speed and gives your auto attacks a chance to do 10 percent of the targets

health wich is rlly good IMO, and physical power on top of that. Now i put TWO items as the

LAST option for your sixth item. this is situational. hit tab and see what your enemies are

building, if you see them building physical resist items get the Titan's base because of the

penetration. if they dont build any physical resist than go with the frostbound hammer.

Skills

Alright i hope you guys are still with me, i know this is really long but it will help you

in the long run and im really tryin my best for you guys, so im hopeing you enjoy. OK so

lets start off with cupids PASSIVE, now when i first started SMITE i had NO idea gods had

passives what so ever. i never really opened the skill menu tbh i just used the key bindings

rofl. So cupids passive is one of my favorites, his passive is if you get a successful hit

on ANYTHING, im not sure about towers, you get a stack of your passive, get 10 of these and

your next heart bomb/ fields of love will stun them when they explode. Now say you have 5

stacks and you use a heart bomb or fields of love, This will make ALL 5 of your stacks go

away. Now let me move on to heart bomb, nothin fancy just basicly, you shoot it, it does a

bit of damage, give it a couple seconds and it does more damage/stuns. Now if it is gonna

stun, when it explodes it is an area of effect, meaning everyone in range of your target

when it explodes takes damage or is stuned. Now that we got that out of the way lets move on

to Flutter. it is great for escape sense when they walk in it, it slows them, so running

into the jungle and fluttering will be an easy escape for you, it is god for gank sense you

can cutt off their escape with your flutter and instinct wil tell them not to run in it so

they will be scared or disoriented and an easy kill for YOU <3. Alright now for Share the

love. i usualy Max this out After i max out heart bomb, so My ULTI is my first priority of

course, heart bomb my second, and share the love my third. Flutter i just use as a mobile

thing to get away/gank. OK now for the ulti, use this in team fights, or if your trying to

2v1, or defending a tower from their whole team, dont waste it on one person it wsnt meant

for that, its a massive stun/CC in team fights so keep that in mind.

Team Work

Ok now Cupid might be a ''carry'' but he can be a very good support, with his share the love

always at a high skill level or rank lol w.e. so don't always look at for yourself look at for

your team too. He has massive CC, so always try to keep your stacks up on your passive, this

will help your team too much you have no idea, again don't waste your ultimate, you kno, and

just keep your share the love at atleast rank 3 maybe? i always keep it proportional with

heart bomb. AGAIN i say COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR TEAM, if someone on your team is being nooby

pls pls pls dont scream or flame or rage, just help them, tell them what to do, teach them,

dont troll. all you are doing is creating more trolls and MORE noobs, how is that helping you

in the long run?

Techniques

Im going to teach you some tips/ techniques on how to prevail as cupid in this section. 1. if

you are going to gank, sense you are going in the jungle anyway, get your stacks up to 10 2.

lets say your team is on left lane and you are on right lane, and they are poking at the enemy

team and all the enemies over there, ask if they need your help, if not punish the enemy tower

3. if your lane is mia and your pushing your lane, let your minions damage the tower, dont be

dumb and sstart hitting it yourself, that could be JUST what they want you to do 4. if your

lane doesnt nee any more pushing go help other lanes, help your team dont just focus on your

lane. These are only a few though i have so much more i would like to share =)

Conclusion

So ya that is it for this guide! thanks so much for reading i really hope you enjoyed it, um

leave a comment i would like to hear from you, i check my comments after like every match i

play, lol, and whenever im home or when i first wake up. VOTE UP IF YOU LIKED thanks so much,

The whole point of making a guide is to have people read it who are seeking info... And right now it just hurts your eyes to the point where it is unreadable.

Even if everyone could get past the solid color and no links to gear/skills they are met with bad grammar.

Im also a stickler for somewhat good grammar as well for such things. Makes it stand out more and look...I dont know...professional for a lack of better term.

The overcolor for sure hides what this guide is about and is just distracting.

No vote either way, but will check back later and vote if changed. I only really downvote if the guide is 100% wrong or just blank.
