My thoughts

First I'd like to say that a huge inspiration for me has been Okami (TheZodiacWolf) and the way he plays Fenrir. He's probably THE best Fenrir player out there right now, so if you want more advice on how to perform well with the character then look him up.

Fenrir is a very squishy god and should always be thought of and treated as such. Playing as Fenrir you'll often notice how (in team fights) the enemies seem to target you, both early and late game. This can be countered in many ways but the simplest one is by building loads of defense.

Hide and void are very good defense items on Fenrir, hide gives some added mana (something Fenrir sorely needs), while void gives an added bonus of def reduction.

Something I see a lot is people building Fenrir as if he was any other assassin; Loads of lifesteal and crit with little to no def items, and of course I'll always beat the sh*t out of them. Fenrir is (in my opinion) an ability based god. He doesn't do well in 1v1 basic attack fights against most other assassins simply because they can out dps him in that particular field. This leads me to build him with a lot of power and def shred in order to do high amounts of burst damage quickly.

Things to keep in mind

[*] Build more than one defense item, preferably something with HP

[*] Lots of physical power to make his abilities shine

[*] SHRED DEFENSE!!!

Go for the squishies (Assassins, Mages and Hunters) and try to avoid meatwalls such as Warriors or Guardians. If you want/need to target their ADC then do it by surprise and stun (5 RUNES) the bastard before finishing them off with your 3.

If you encounter a sustain god with good cc, and you can't score a kill quickly, then get out of there, it's better to run away from a losing battle then to feed the enemy team. That goes for any sustain god, they WILL outlast you unless you've counter built, no matter how high your damage is.

I like your guide :) Lots of good tips. A few comments (which I will address assuming we're talking about conquest):

Fenrir is usually played ability based early to mid game, then switches to an auto attack based God for the sole reason that his abilities just completely fall off late game once everybody is full built and has loads of defense/HP. The exception to that might be the squishies like hunters or even other assassins but like you stated, if you try to Brutalize them, you will get focused and/or they will outbox you.

I was also wondering about your build. I normally build Jottun's first but I actually like the void shield as first item against aggressive early game gods such as maybe Thanatos. However, I don't think Transcendence is necessary with all the power you get from your boots, void, Jottun's, and Shifter's. You might benefit more with more penetration from perhaps Titan's Bane. Obviously though every game is different so one should always build accordingly. :)

I love how simple and to the point you made this guide, which covers all the points anyone may need to know for pretty much any game mode. Thumbs up from me. Not trying to criticize your build just commenting what I was thinking while reading it. I'd love to hear your feedback from my comments as well. :)

I fully agree. If the enemy team is smart and the squishies start buying defense then transcendence is worthless. I just used it as an example because most of the time (in casual games) people will neglect to build defense, thus making penetration more or less pointless. I try my best to avoid the enemies with lots of defense because trying to kill them without backup is both stupid and suicidal. XD

(Edit) Also it might be worth to mention that I usually get beatstick or titan's bane rather than Jottun, due to me not having a need for CD reduction, at least not personally.
