Hi guys and girls,
I'm Yuki only a internet name for me, im a casual player at times but have a hardcore gamer inside me who enjoy playing smite since the ps4 alpha beta. but i did play xbox etc etc. my first moba was LOL(League of legends)
So hear is my build for playing Skadi
P.S: Practice makes perfect cant be good with someone if scared to try something out :D
Kaldr, the Winter Wolf
Skadi's pet, Kaldr, The Winter Wolf, is considered her passive ability. Kaldr is a brilliant asset to have, working independently from Skadi, whilst still being under her control. Kaldr is able to put great pressure on enemies through attacking them.
Piercing cold
This is Skadi Main wave clear, and damaging ability. It fires in a straight line in front of you, passing through any minions or gods hit, and applies a slow and additional effect to enemies hit by it are also gets a debuffed to take an additional damage from Kaldr's atk. This gives you a huge boost to damage so you should always try and hit enemies with it. Whenever you have Kaldr attacking them they aim for him so it a great to hit them wiht this move puts a 3s slow on them making it incredible pressure and cause serious damage to your enemies.
Rune of the Hunt
A simple toggle ability which switches Kaldr between his combat and recovery stances. To put Kaldr into combat stance you have to use a ground target to select who/what you want him to attack. This can sometimes be hard to do effectively when you're under attack, and when there's multiple enemies in close proximity to each other you can often end up targeting the wrong one so try and beat this in mind when using it.
To switch back to defensive stance you simply need to reactivate the ability and Kaldr will be called back. He has 5 hit points which can be depleted as he is attacked, in his combat stance, but replenish over time in his recovery stance. You want to try and make sure that anytime he is not needed you have Kakdr in his recovery stance, to keep his hit points topped up.
Permafrost
lays a circle of ice on the ground which damages enemies who step on it, and disrupts their movement, by causing them to slide across the ice. It also buffs Skadi's own movement speed when she walks over it and it also is a great skill for being obnoxious and making things difficult for your opponent, although it has decent other uses which may not be so obvious. One of the best uses for Permafrost is for the disruption it causes to your enemies. Its great for pulling people out of position, or towards yourself, your teammates, and tower, which is great for putting squishies in a vulnerable position. It's also good for disrupting enemies escapes, giving you and teammates a chance to catch up. Great for helping you escape
Winter's Grasp
summons a blizzard each around you and Kaldr, lasting 5 seconds. The blizzard temporarily roots and causes DoT to enemies caught in it, u can also kill Kaldr . As it puts a blizzard around both you and Kakdr it is very effective for locking down squishies in the back lines, so that your team can pounce on them, as you can send Kaldr to attack before activating Winter's Grasp to get the root.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
