Alright so you're probably thinking, "In3rtia man why should I look at your guide?". I'll tell you why; because this Guide will tell you in depth each and every aspect of Scylla. When to use abilities, when to leave, when to initiate. All the **** you need to know to own your opponent.
PROS: High Burst; Good Escape; Decent Crowd Control
CONS: Low Defense, Bad Early Game.... That's it.....
WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE PLAY SCYLLA?
Many people wonder why I go Book of Thoth on Scylla. Book of Thoth is a very expensive item, and can be difficult to get and stack before laning phase is over (especially with Scylla). However, Book grants a lot of magical power, a base of 100 magic power (mp), as well as 125 mana. This mana including the amount the stacks grant is powerful when combined with the passive. The fact that 5 stacks are obtained when you get a kill is invaluable because Scylla is a very high-damaging mage that can get a lot of kills if played properly. This makes stacking possible, even into the middle stages of the game.
Moving on to the next topic. Why Shoes of the Magi before beginning Book of Thoth? I mean if you go Book before Shoes, then you can finish stacking sooner. Getting Shoes early will allow you to be relevant in the game and contribute to the team until you can get stacking on your Book. A good time to finish Book of Thoth and begin stacking is 12- 13 minutes into the game, when laning phase is at its later stage allowing more rotations, which in turn allows for more kills and more stacks. At this point Crush should be maxed out, being able to one shot the creep wave, allowing easier stacking.
The reason I left level 8 and 9 empty at the skill progression menu is due to the fact that you want to point skip at level 8. This allows you to get one stack of your passive at level 9 instead of a level later. This grants you 20 extra magic power about 1-2 minutes sooner than if you didn't point skip. This allows for the fastest way to gain mp. After this there is no need to point skip.
**NOTE**: This will not delay you maxing your ult in any way. You will level your ult at the same pace. This will only affect you leveling Sic'em.
Alright we all know Scylla's early game sucks really, really bad. Crush's base damage isn't a lot, and most mages will out-push you very easily. The basic strategy for Scylla in the early game is to survive. If you can survive the early game equal or even a little behind your mid lane opponent, then you've succeeded. As you get better and more comfortable with the god, you will begin to end the early game ahead of your opponent.
So how will you succeed as Scylla early game? Maximum farming. What I mean with maximum farming is you want to get as much gold and xp as you possibly can as soon as you can. You can do this a variety of ways. For example, Jungle camp splitting. Share the Damage Buff and small camps with the jungler. If you share these buffs you will gain much gold and xp, and you won't hurt the jungler in any way if they have Bumba's Mask. Another way you can excel in the early game is getting as many mid camps as possible. Many mid players (and junglers) do not give priorities to mid camps. Mid camps, unless you get invaded, are the only camps that are contested by the other team. The jungle meta, at the moment, is to take as much farm away from the enemy jungler as possible. By getting the mid camps, you're not only taking farm away from the jungler and mid laner, you are GAINING that same amount of xp, doubling the lead. This will allow you to obtaining Scylla's passive stacks sooner by leveling up, and getting your core build online much faster. Now the best way to win your lane, and the hardest, is by killing your lane opponent. This gives you xp and gold, and removes the enemy mid from the game for a while allowing invades to happen.
By doing all these things, you should be able to survive the early game.
By now you should be around level 10-13, depending how effectively you farmed. Book of Thoth should now be online, and Crush should be one hitting the wave allowing for easier stacking. Rotations are key here. Aim to be the first one to rotate to the fight, because you lane opponent is probably going to have a movement ability (Ra passive; Janus portals). Usually these fights will have 3-4 people, with the opposite lane not rotating. Here's a pro tip: NEVER USE SENTINEL UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU WILL GET OUT ALIVE. Sacrificing yourself is not worth it. As Scylla, your team NEEDS you. Any amount of time you are spending dead is detrimental to your team. You need to continue stacking and you need to protect mid tower. Your mid tower is the most important tier one tower there is. If you lose this tower, your jungle buffs are exposed as well as any objectives such as Gold Fury or Fire Giant. You'll probably get tower dived around this time, so have actives at tier 2 or 3 at this point. Begin to buy sentry wards at this time. Counter-warding is very important. Ward where the other mid is probably warding and kill their ward. Also, damage buff on Scylla is a necessity. Scylla is all about scaling. Just continue to farm and get your Book stacks.
Now is when Scylla is in her prime. Teamfights are her forte. Aim for multi-man Sic'ems that go straight into I'm a Monster. This will usually kill the target of get them extremely low. Be careful of your positioning. You're no use to your team when you're dead. Especially when you haven't used I'm a Monster yet. Remember to buy wards. In addition, your damage buff is extremely important. There isn't much else. Just hit your abilities.
There are many counters to Scylla. Ra is probably the best one. Early game, he can heal the minions after Scylla uses Crush. In a teamfight, he can heal his team of all of Scylla's damage after they disengage. Any other good early game push gods (Isis) are very good counters to Scylla.
There isn't much you can do besides try and survive. Your jungler can help by ganking and killing the enemy mid and putting you ahead.
Basically Scylla is a very good mid laner. She has an amazing teamfight. Survive until late game and you will do very well.
Hope this guide helps :D

Yeah I just read that part over, I'll edit it and make the teamfight section better. This is my first guide so I don't really know how to put it in words. I makes sense in my head.
Getting 20 more magic power at level 9 is not worth it. If you hit with every single ability, the 20 magic power provides 56 more damage, including ult. Not counting ult (assuming missed), it's only 32 more total damage. Compare that to 100 more damage on ult and you're almost doubling the benefit you'd gain from skipping the level and weakening yourself skill-wise.
Otherwise, I'd add a section about actives, adding an actual explanation to teamfight other than 'scylla has a good one', and a combos section, since she's so based around it.
