Stunning opponents with the acorns so Poseidon can release the kraken is a crazy combo and it works pretty well.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

It's also taking a key early spot in the build lineup where, if you were set on getting something like Rage, you probably want to start building stacks on that as soon as possible and so should consider it in that place if you insist on building it.
- Deathbringer: any crit build obviously benefits from the increased crit damage from this item. It also provides Glyph options, of which in Joust I think you're usually best served with Malicious Deathbringer to get your abilities back up more quickly.
- Hydra's Lament: you should probably consider this item, and early. The CDR is nice, the pen is helpful, and you should be able to get your attack cancels in to get good use out of this. In a full non-ult commit with a Dash initiation, you might go 1-basic-2-basic-3-basic, interchanging the 2 and 3 where necessary. That's a lot of Hydra proc potential.
- Fail-Not: Nice CDR boost for higher aggression. % pen. After ulting, allow teammates to also crit. Quite functional for Joust.
