Royal Assault you want to level first, its best for wave clear, as well as damage, quickly followed by poly. We want divine shroud before ult comes online even though it doesnt damage, because it can help you survive enemy ultimate that will be coming online as well

So, this build was for before 10.4 and was awesome as heck....that said, with the 10.4 season of hope update, Book of Thoth as well as Tablet took big nerfs, lowering over all power, mana, and true damage of this build, plus with the pen changes, warlocks staff and staff of middryn will be hitting tanks less hard because less pen.
Overall, this build will have a lot less carry potential especially against tanks in 10.4. As such, i havent played it yet, but even though its still slotted in "year 10" i would no longer recommend it
This is a HEAVILY ability based build, you will be looking to full kit dump and kill before they can really challenge you. It is mostly a late game build, survive and poke until then!
In the early game, youll use Royal Assault to clear primarily. Line up the melee minions with your semi circle, and the rectangle with the archers for best clear. If you can hit the enemy god with this at all, more power to you! Once Polymorph is online, you'll use it to partially clear and poke damage.
As the game goes, you should focus on wave and minion clearing, as with any game, and getting poke where you can with polymorph for tablet of destines, and minions for building up stacks for book of thoth and warlocks staff. After both of these are built and online, you want to be focusing your abilities on gods as much as possible to start stacking Tablet, as this one takes the longest for sure.
Generally once the full build is online, we want to slam down argus for our ult, polymorph to slow and keep them in argus range, and then hit with Royal Assault. We can use Divine shroud for a speed boost to pressure and push into them if you need, or can use it to avoid damage/escape fights. As mentioned, Divine Shroud can be used to help survive and avoid enemy ultimate's, which is why we want its first level online before our ultimate, even though it doesnt damage.
I have adjusted this build to get tablet early, even though we do not build much mana yet, getting those stacks really help a lot, and it takes a long time to stack. We want Book of Thoth and Warlocks right after for the large spikes in power, mana, and health. We finish with Spear of Desolation for more ultimate procs, Staff of Mydrinn will be good for that 10% cooldown, plus bonus damage after casting our ult, since we want to combo our 1 and 2 after slamming argus down, and finish with Pendulum of Age for that last power boost and cooldown. You will get a lot of damage based around your mana, and the stacking items help build all that mana!
this is DEFINITELY a later game build! In the early game its important to stay safe, clear waves, and get what poke you can, but done die for some clear!
Rotate to help out a lane if others are struggling, but until your stacks of book and warlocks are done MAKE SURE you are clearing your lane first!
Note, this build hasn't been too heavily tested, i used almost this same build in S9, but it did not include the new tablet. With it, it seems to do MASSIVE damage if you can get it stacked, so be sure to be poking a lot with your 1 and 2 abilities, each hit you get will start stacking that tablet.
Also my first guide, but it's definitely what i will be building with my Hera
