This is not a guide, just a build I have played and has worked for me. The key item here is polynomicon. Normally you don't build poly until later in your build but it makes his 2 so damn powerful I just have to get it early. The rest of the build is circumstantial and can/should be adapted accordingly.
I aim to add more once I have played him a bit more, for now try this build and see what you think!
Enjoy!

Pros
+Excellent burst potential
+Good utility
+A handy escape/gap closer (can be used through walls/obstacles)
+Lots of options on his ult
Cons
-Very squishy
-Long cooldowns
-Cripple be thine enemy
-Quite difficult to get the hang of
I am by no means good at this character, but I had fun with this build. Watch this space for a more detailed build. Make sure you land your 2 and follow it with a basic attack and any other ability and they will drop like flys. Polynomicon is a must.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
