Well this is my first guide. I played LOL (league of legends) for several years so when I finally got introduced to Smite I picked it up very easily. This guide wont really go into percentages and breaking things down little by little but it will give you a basic understanding on how to use this God. Personally I never follow a guide to the tee I just use it as a foundation when trying out a new god and getting a better understanding of their skillset. Any advice is much appreciated and I will continue to update this guide as i learn new tips and tricks.
As you can tell my items are mainly focus around attack speed, movement speed and a bit of critical chance. In some games I may use two lifesteal items because honestly I value survivability over everything else when it comes to using Ullr.
1 and 3 will be your bread and butter. Your main objective is to set up the play with your 1 in the axe stance. Simply throw your axe after you land the stun quickly switch to your bow stance and use your 3 first because that ability is fairly annoying to land on moving enemies. As soon as you blast the enemy with your 3 try to follow up with your 1. Never use your glory bound as a part of the burst unless you are securing a kill because it is your only escape besides the movement speed increase from your 2. Ullr is a God that requires a great deal of practice and patience when it comes to landing skills shots and successfully switching between stances to maximize damage output.
Pros
Very nice wave clear
Good gap closer and escape artist
Amazing auto attack damage with easy to use steriods
Melts whoever steps in front of him
High sustain
Performing good makes you look pro
Cons
MAAANNNAAAA HUUNNGGRRYYY
Annoying skills shots
Requires a good deal of practice
Axe stance auto attacks are short
No health so dont look for it
CC is your kryptonite
Very easy to fall behind if greedy
Your job is to throw that axe. Set your team up with that stun and start your melting process. The best Gods in this game are the ones with some form of CC and in most cases a stun its just a beautiful feeling stunning someone without the fear of getting damage in return. You have poking abilities but its best you play passive until you can set up a really good combo.
Personally I think any God is viable for ranked play. Some Gods do excel because of their team fighting capabilities but it all truly depends on the person sitting behind the screen. Ullr fits into most team styles especially with having a stun that can be landed from a good distance away without putting him into immediate danger. I will be using him more and more often in ranked play just to throw the opposite team for a loop. I recommend using him for a great deal of time before putting your elo into the hands of the arrow axe man.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
