GREETINGS FRIEND! Welcome to my Khepri guide. Before we get into the actual guide I would like to tell you that this is my first guide so any feedback given is appreciated. Anyway lets start getting into the guide about Khepri, the Dawn Bringer. Your entire goal as Khepri is be as annoying to the enemy team as possible. This means being a fat bug, saving ally gods with your ult, and setting up as many kills as possible, as well as causing some disruption in a team fight.
Pros
Shoes of Focus give Khepri CDR, mana, and movement speed. Some of the most useful utility stats for Khepri.
Breastplate of Valor is one of my favorite items on Khepri. Like shoes of focus it provides CDR, mana, but also physical protections at a relatively low price.
Hide of the Urchin is one of the best items for tanks. It provides 65 dual protections (when at max stacks) as well as 250 health and mana.
Genji's gaurd provides CDR as well as an improved passive that will help Khepri spam his abilities more. It is pretty much the Breastplate of Valor of magical protections. It also will get you to max CDR
Midgardian Mail is a physical protection item that counters attack speed with it's passive. Attack speed is something that is in the hunter meta.
This item is really good for the survivablity of Khepri. This can sometimes allow Khepri to avoid using his ult on himself.
Khepri's passive is really good for survivability in the early stages of the game. Stacking the health shield on your ADC and mid laner can help with taking some damage at the first jungle camps.
Abduct is Khepri's main form of initiation and a form of escape if necessary. The grab and slow pull back, as well as the silence it provides can be a death sentence for the enemy. Be careful though because it can leave you open for attack. Also remember that this is a channeled ability and can be interrupted by CC.
This is Khepri's lane clear. It is a long line that applies a DoT to the enemy reducing their protections. Rising Dawn can also reduce damage. It can be hard to reduce incoming damage for your allies and reduce the enemies protections so just aim to do which ever would benefit the team fight senerio you are in.
A basic AOE root that provides some good peel. It can either be used to set up your other abilities or keep the enemy out of position longer.
One of the best and most annoying things about Khepri is his ult. A revive like this one can help your ADC out box the enemy. It can be really good for taking objectives. It can save a team mate that was caught out. Scarab's blessing is one of the best things about Khepri. Try to save it for your team mates rather than yourself though.
Combos
First Combo: Solar Flare-Rising Dawn
This is mainly a poke combo with Solar Flare guaranteeing that Rising Dawn hits.
Second Combo: Solar Flare-Abduct-Rising Dawn
More for Khepri players who are less confident in their ability to land their Abduct.
Third Combo: Rising Dawn-Abduct-Solar Flare
A more advanced combo once you get used to Khepri that allows you to keep the enemy out of position longer with Solar Flare.
Here are some tips for more novice Khepri players.
Ares is one of the hardest gods to lane against as a Khepri. Since your hit box is massive he can land his chains easily on you. These chains will also cancel your Abduct, which is very annoying.
Athena's taunt is can be devastating. It can pull you out of position if you try to Abduct. And since your escape is down it will be hard for you to get out of that situation.
Who would of thought that one of the best counters to a Khepri is another Khepri. His kit just counters a more aggressive khepri as he can counter Abduct you if you try to Abduct his ADC.
Early Game
In the early game Khepri would just be clearing waves and trying to catch out an enemy in duo lane to get your ADC fed early on. Help your ADC out with boars and try to pressure the enemy back with your decent lane push.
Mid Game
Mid game is when team fights start to happen and you start to gank other lanes. Gank lanes that being pushed out. Just be an annoyance and set up kills wherever possible. Make sure to save your team mates with your ult when necessary.
Late Game
Now that you have become the fattest bug in the nation you can start to tank towers for your team take down. In this phase focus on catching out opponents so your team mates can kill them. In these late game team fights, your ult can sway the team fight in your favor.
In summary as a Khepri you want to be really fat and annoying as possible. Help your team by setting up kills and saving them with your ult. Make sure to engage only when you have a team to provide damage. Try to find opportunities to take objectives with your team. Remember this and you will be on your way to fat bug success.
