Ares, The God of war whom many support players fear to play, but fear more to play against. One of the hardest supports to play at this point in the meta, Ares can have a massive impact on the game. But be warned, if he gets put behind he cannot do very much save burn purification. Though his passive grants him massive power, going a full aura Ares usually doesn't end well unless you're in an arena match. He requires amazing positioning, good initiation skills, and most of all, the ability to play him aggressively without dying.
Pros:
As Ares in lane you want to be careful that you don't get poked out too much just by pure minion damage, but you also need to make sure that you're being aggressive since you really can't help that much to clear the wave. It's a trade-off, and one that is hard to judge many times. Overall I believe it is better to play safe if your partner adc isn't a super high pressure god, because if you get behind early, then you do nothing for almost the entire game.
While rotating with Ares, make sure that your team is in a position to fight BEFORE you ult the enemy, because if you ult and you are alone then they will almost always kill you. Also in a fight you should never 'machine gun' your chains, that is to say you need to wait before firing number two and three so you get the full effect of the chains.
Read his abilities, many have effects that most Ares players don't know about, like that his Bolster Defense is based off how many gods he has chained, and that his Searing Flesh does percent health damage.
Late game with these builds you will be an absolute beast, either wiping enemies clean off the map, or tanking 5 ults to the face and living, all while laughing and pointing your giant, spikey, and useless sword.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
