Who is WatchersGrim?

Hi I am WatchersGrim

I am a Veteran to the game but not a constant player. I have been playing since beta on PC and have been a Bakasura main the entire time though I do tend to drop off for a couple months to a year and come back just to play a month or two. My Bakasura is only Diamond 2 while the rest of my characters are mastery 5 or below with only 5 characters past mastery 1. I may not be the most credited Bakasura main but I have played for a long time with him gaining me some knowledge to how to play and what to do. I may seem off meta but I prefer this compared to any other build out there.

Why this build?

So why crit of all things?

Well I prefer the burst damage it provide with the cleave from ult. Its maximum glass cannon damage on a character that has built in true damage on auto's So why not go crit? I do understand that it may not instantly destroy tanks but when you can two shot a squishy at full build and stay alive the entire time, it seems like a better choice.

So which mode is this build for?

So what mode is this build for?

Technically, this build can be used on anymode outside of conquest due to not needing a starter item in most other modes. Yes starter items help but why use them when you can rush the most important item(Hastened Katana)? I pretty much have only played Joust as I do not like the amount of time nor how conquest works. I like quicker matches and not as much grinding in the sense.

Item tips

Some item tips

Some don't think its important but I find it crucial to Bakasura. I believe Hastened Katana is the best item on Bakasura. Why you ask? Its all about the movement! Bakasura is a squishy target and is a glass cannon. To counter this weakness in some slight way, Hastened Katana allows him to stay mobile while still autoing. With Regurgitate slowing and sometimes if eaten enough minions or jungle monsters can block people. It allows you to auto and keep momentum while being harder to hit with CC or skill shots keeping you alive a little longer. Pair that with crit working on his ults cleave damage and lifesteal. You will have one mean fast munching boi!

Small breakdown of ability sequence.

So why the ability sequence not maining his leap damage?

Well to be truthful, his leap damage is not the biggest thing in his kit and really only provides movement options and a getaway if necessary. Maxing his leap would just provide no benefit in my opinion compared to true damage. Now I secondary his consume due to his weak early game damage via this build. You could max his consume first for sustain to keep you alive but I just prefer the overall damage bonus. Choose to max his 2 or his 3 based on the matchup but do not put points into his 1 till after the other 2 have completed.
