Freya is a serious glass cannon. She compliments most guardians, but lacks the range many hunters and mages do that usually go long lane as adc. Play passive early game, go between minions and close by jungle, try to level as fast as possible, don't take too many deaths or hits. The wait is well worth it. Once 10+ you will see a noticeable boost in how strong she is as a ADC, and it only gets better.
Go attack speed if their team/your lane isn't overly defensive.
If their team has a guardian support, as well as a strong defensive warrior, go pen build.
To clear a line of minions, don't use your irradiate, use pulse to clear from a distance especially early on. As you get a bit higher of level, if wards are placed properly, don't be afraid to melee minions, as you don't have to worry about being ganked as much.
This is the freya I love. Normally if I have to play as a ADC, i'd choose a hunter or mage with more range.
Starting off with shoes and the mask will help you keep up with levels. I usually am in comms with my team/friends, so I can clearly hear what side is having more issues, I try to spend more time jungling on that side for some poking and help.
If i'm staying more on long lane jungle, I always attempt to take enemies damage buff. The more damage you can match with your attack speed early on, the more deadly you will be.
Pros:
One of the most deadly gods.
Severely underestimated as a jungler.
Your ultimate serves as a escape, extra damage, and you can chase a fleeing enemy with it.
High melee and ranged damage.
Nobody ever expects you to rekt face
Rarely do people choose her, so she's always available to play
Cons:
Glass cannon
Not the easiest to master
Must have good aim for impulse
Slow start
Lack of range if ADC
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

Poly, also, is not really the optimal lifesteal item for her. If you calculate the extra damage it provides, you'll find it does less even than one of her regular hits using pulse and irradiate. Pythagorem's piece is the better item for the significantly higher lifesteal, which is absolutely noticeable in healing up via a wave or sustaining in a 1 v 1.
That said, this build doesn't even have any lifesteal. Spear of desolation is the unnecessary item in my opinion. You get plenty of penetration/protection reduction via the other suggested items and have plenty of damage without it.
Sure she has built in lifesteal via her passive, but it's not quite enough for boxing or sustain in conquest.
