Introduction

Hello there and welcome to my first guide on Thor, one of the gods from my country's ancestors mythologies. In life, Thor was a mighty warrior, whom none could match their strength with, and he always had Mjölner(Mjolnir) by his side. At rest a tool, on the fields a weapon thet filled his enemies with dread.

In SMITE, Thor is a Physical based DPS with good survivability from his base stats. He has a quite high natural HP/5 which gives him a longer time in lane before he has to go back.

Enough with the stuff you already know, onto the guide you're here for!

Pros/Cons

[*] Pros

Good survivability
Flexible, can both do the dmg and tank
Insane range and ganking abilities with his ulti
Can avoid slows
Can "poke" people with his hammer during lane phase
Can stay in lane more or less forever, depending on opponents

[*] Cons
Not as powerful as he should be
Ulti can be heard from quite some range and also be seen, making it easier to avoid by more experienced players.
His slow/blockage SUCKS!!
The hammerthrow is quite hard to get to come back the path you want it to if moving

Pros: 6
Cons: 4

Overall: +2
:D

Items

The items I've choosen for this build are as following:

Starting the game you SHOULD buy the VoidbladeThe Physical power boost is needed early, as well as late. Finish it off ASAP! The secondary effect is also important, since it lower your opponents physical defense and you want to get up close.

Second up, you should buy the Reinforced Bootsto get some extra survivability and to be able to keep up with your opponents speed, don't max these out just yet.

Third up, you will be getting the Frostbound Hammerto get some extra power, more survivability and once again, to keep up with your enemies.

Under Construction

If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment and/or send me a message and I will personally look into it :)

This wasn't supposed to be published yet, as I am still working on it but somehow it manageed to become so anyways, will remove and re-publish when it is done.

Also as you might have noticed, there is a pretty big part saying that it is under construction, I simply just didn't have time to finish this last night :)

More or less what Xanthious said only Ill explain why.

Items are ok, I guess, but the order is not right nor do you have all the items that you think are good to buy. There are better items in better order but Im not going to list them as it would just be better to make a guide myself.

Skill ordering is incorrect, you want the rift sooner. That ability is so good and allows you to cut off someone and trap them in for an easy early kill. Getting this so late in the game is just not correct.

The guide itself is lacking information.
How do you play him? Tips and tricks and explain the skills some.
