- Wait until buying Heartseeker to upgrade Jotunn's Wrath into Jotunn's Vigor.
- Upgrade Pendant into Brooch last.
Tap each synergy level to view Thor’s synergies
- Substitute Bloodforge with Brawler's Beat Stick if the enemy team has little life steal or healing.
- Substitute Berserker's Shield with The Crusher if you feel you need extra bulk against physical gods.
- Substitute Magi's Cloak with either if you feel you are getting molly-whopped and can't play the game
This is a pretty casual guide for those who want a quick and simple build or want to learn a little about Thor. It will work as Jungle in conquest or slash threat specifically.
Probably the toughest thing in this game is figuring out "what am I supposed to build???" Well, this guide will put this to bed when it comes to Thor, who really ain't changed too much despite the number of times the items change.
The beauty of a god like Thor is what you are trying to do really doesn't differ too much on the game mode, and neither should your build. You want to elbow-drop these jobbers and reduce them to dust with a quick burst of damage!
You will get near max cooldown after rushing Jotuns, then Hydras and Hydras will give you a meaty basic to whack those losers with and clean them up after bursting them with your 1 and 3.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Wait until buying Heartseeker to upgrade Jotunn's Wrath into Jotunn's Vigor.
- Upgrade Pendant into Brooch after.
- Lastly, upgrade relics and buy power potions.
Also a few tips here as well in small cases, you may rarely need to deviate from the main build:
- Substitute Bloodforge with Brawler's Beat Stick if the enemy team has little life steal or healing.
- Substitute Berserker's Shield with The Crusher if you feel you need extra bulk against physical gods.
- Substitute Magi's Cloak with either if you feel you are getting molly-whopped and can't play the game.
You may also get a relic like blink if you're feeling feisty, so you can dive with blink, attack, then use your hammer to escape if things go south quickly.
Mjolnir's Attunement (1)
Good Clear tool! Beat minions up with this, and make sure you get that EXTRA DAMAGE as it RETURNS back to you! Don't forget that it makes a good escape (Or chase down tool) by pressing the button again to teleport to the axe.
Tectonic Rift (2)
Please be careful and don't get your team killed with this. Use it as a line mostly to stun the bad guys at the END of it or to the sides of that STRAIGHT LINE. You will only, in RARE cases, use this to actually wall people off! you mainly want it for the stun you get by actually HITTING enemy gods with it. Then get ready to COMBO with your 1 immediately! Free Damage hitting them TWICE!
Berserker Barrage (3)
uh... Just spin and hit the bad guys... LET IT RIP!
Anvil of Dawn (4)
Not only used for stealing or "confirming" kills BUT also a good engagement tool on unsuspecting bad guys when used in a jungle into lane quickly, so long as your team is ready to engage. Just get ready with a simple 1(Hammer), 2(Wall), and 3(Spin) right after your ult to delete the enemy!
The first half is outdated. You can skip to 28 seconds in if you're that impatient.
Shout out to Inters3ct!
Leveling
In most game modes, you will focus on leveling your 1. In conquest, you may want to focus your 3 instead, as the spin may be better for beating up the Jungle camps, but I prefer the 1 leveled up first myself.
Well, now you're ready to fly high and rain terror upon your foes.
Just ensure you don't dive multiple enemies alone and die, dummy. You are at your best initiating a fight with your tanks ready to come in and support you or picking off lone mages or hunters with weak or no real escapes.
Always pick your fights carefully, but also, don't be afraid to engage when necessary!
