The reason I chose Sentinel's Gift over Benevolence is because it gives better sustain and allows Atlas to be more aggressive in the early game. You'll want to use the HOG on the purple buff because your level 1 clear is not exactly the best thing in the game.
Meditation cloak pairs well with Sentinel's Gift as you can use it in the early game to be aggressive and out-heal your opponents. This relic is also good late game as Atlas's health stat is pretty high.
I would also like to say that we are getting our Gravity Pull ability at Level 1. The reason why we get gravity pull first is because it provides strong cc and can hit the entire minion wave. This ability is better than unburden because it provides strong cc whether you're using it offensively or defensively.
Despite getting our Gavity Pull first, we are going to put as many levels as possible into our Unburden ability. This is because an effective support will have as much Crowd Control as possible throughout the game. The Unburden ability will slow enemies more as you level it, which allows atlas to have as much cc as possible by level 9.
Now when you are a giant, astrolabe wielding titan of the cosmos, you want to be able to hold all of the burdens that you're supposed to. This means that you want to be able to support your team throughout the entire match and being able to handle the debuffs that enemies may put on you. Atlas is a god that is very weak to slows. Winged blade allows you to compensate for that by giving you some ccr and making you immune to slows with it's passive.
Now also as a support, you should be able to initiate fights if you need to. Heavenly can be used to help Atlas initiate a fight, something that he can't do without leaving his squishies to fend for themselves. It goes without saying that heavenly can also be used as a form of escape if things get messy. Heavenly also pairs well with Atlas's Kinetic Charge, as both provide great speed boosts for your team.
Having Relic Dagger will reduce the cooldowns of your abilities and your relics, so you can constantly buff your allies and heal them when needed. My first thought was putting Pridwen somewhere in the build instead of this, but Atlas's ult is extremely situational and I've found Relic Dagger to be better.
Everything else in the build is mainly meant to provide support to your allies. By giving them protections, hp5, and mp5, Atlas makes a great difference in team fights when your entire team can roll up with 100+ protections.
EDIT: The 30% CDR Build includes Pridwen and Shogun's Kusari instead of Relic Dagger and Heartward Amulet. This build is for those who prefer to have some lower cooldowns and more action in team fights. The main difference about these two builds is the reduction that Relic Dagger gives to your relic cooldowns. I realized that with pridwen, you are able to get the shield from its passive allowing you to make up for some health potentially lost by the shorter meditation cooldown. The shield from Pridwen will also explode, slowing enemies around you. Which again, makes up for any of the times you wish you had Heavenly Wings up but couldn't make it work. These changes were recommended by the first person who gave me feedback on this website, so please check out their guides for more information and details on things!
Overall Atlas is a very fun god to play. He has great cc in his kit and with the build I've provided you can constantly buff your team and get some crazy assist plays. His abilities have a lot of uses in offensive or defensive situations. Just remember to watch out for slows and that a support player is devoted to enabling their team to do amazing things.
