Hello my dragon kin I am going to show you a build for Ao Kuang it usually works for every game mode for me but you can decide that on your own. Also sorry it's not fancy like others this is my first guide. But let's get it started.
Toxic Blade- I use Toxic Blade for this cause of a few things. I like the 10% movement speed for chasing after people who run if you do not have your teleportation a little speed can go a long way. I also picked mostly for its attack speed boost by 20%. Also the passive on it that reduces their healing by 20% per basic attack is very good for teams that have support like Aphrodite
Witchblade- This I use for attack speed by 20% which is a big part in this build. Also for the cool down rate and movement speed and the passive that decreases enemies attack speed by 20% is a great add on to it.
Demonic Grip- Now the reason for this is again attack speed which is increased by 30%. Also the magical power increase is a nice add on too. But the passive of the weapon is very helpful. It decreases enemies magical defense by 12% every basic attack which can be a giant help with your Dragon Call meaning your dragons will do more damage as you attack which is the reason for increased attack speed.
Ethereal Staff- This is item is for the health boost by 200 and the magical power by 90. But what is very helpful is it's passive which is very effective against guardians.
Polynomicon- Now this item has a great mana boost and it also has good magical power boost. But the main thing on this item that is good for him is the passive which activates when you use his Dragon Call and since that counts as a basic attack it activates doing a lot of damage.
Souls Reaver- This item is mostly used for the giant mana and magical power boost but the passive is a great add on.
Alright that is how I find the items useful. I described them the best I can sorry if some were too long or some to short.
So what you are supposed to with this build is lower their health quick with attack speed and damage and eat them then get out of there. Your basic attacks are pretty strong in general and way stronger with your dragons added to the situation. Swift and deadly is this build, get in then get out and never get caught. Anyway that is my build for Ao Kuang again sorry if I typed to much or to little in some areas I tried my best. I hope this build will help you like it has helped me. Stay safe my dragon brethren and I hope you have a nice day.
-If you are dealing with a god like Hades or Ymir save your Water Illusion to teleport out of their ultimate it will save your life a lot of times.
-When you see a weak enemy god try using your Water Illusion to get past other gods to get to him if you have your ultimate charged use it for it can be a quick escape or the difference of walking away alive or making your grave where you stand.
-Try to activate your Dragon Call before you activate your Water Illusion because you could panic after you teleport and forget to activate it.
-Ao Kuang is good for being a ninja. You can wait around a corner or behind a wall and wait for a teammate to come up and they highlight the enemy god for you and that is when you activate your dragons and teleport behind them and take them by surprise.
-The combination of your Dragons Call then your Water Illusion to sneak up behind the enemy then your Wild Storm will always be a deadly combo.
-Do not waist your ultimate if there are to many teammates around. They could kill your target and take your kill making go into your dragon form but not gain anything from it. It is better to save it.
-You can teleport in front of enemy's to body block them if they are chasing a weak teammate.
-If someone is inside their tower range but is ready to eat, you can sometimes take the chance to teleport as close as you can to the person then eat them and you are able to fly away only taking 1-2 hits from the tower.
