Though CDR is a priority for Nu Wa, this is a pretty standard Mage build. On some mages, CDR will be lower priority and another damage-focused item would replace Chronos' Pendant, and you may also get Shoes of the Magi instead of Shoes of Focus.

Soul Gem is easy to stack with Nu Wa's abilities and allows for some increased burst on her combo or increased damage on the ult.
Obsidian Shard can easily be used intentionally with her ult to hit the whole team harder.
Ethereal Staff and 
Book of the Dead are hybrid items if you need a little survivability.
Staff of Myrddin has some fun interactions with 
Mysterious Fog or 
Clay Soldiers due to the passive.
