Proper positioning, ability usage, and item power spike management are crucial to maximizing the effectiveness of this build.
Achilles is a versatile warrior who can excel in both offensive and defensive roles. This build focuses on balancing his survivability and damage output, allowing him to be effective in prolonged engagements and skirmishes.
Gameplay Tips

Fatal Strike (Ultimate): Level up whenever available for its execution potential.
Abilities Overview

Usage: Use this ability to initiate fights, control enemies, and deal significant burst damage.
2. Radiant Glory (2)

Pros
Balanced Survivability and Damage
This build provides a good mix of defensive and offensive items, allowing Achilles to withstand damage while still dealing significant damage to enemies.
High Sustain
Items like Warrior's Axe and Gladiator's Shield provide healing when hitting enemies with abilities, enhancing Achilles' sustain in fights and making him harder to kill.
Effective Against Both Physical and Magical Damage
Shifter's Shield, Oni Hunter's Garb, and Runic Hammer offer protections against both physical and magical damage, making Achilles resilient against various types of enemies.
Crowd Control Reduction
Oni Hunter's Garb provides crowd control reduction, helping Achilles to avoid being locked down by enemy abilities and increasing his survivability in team fights.
Cooldown Reduction
Several items in the build, including Gladiator's Shield, Runic Hammer, and Shield of the Phoenix, provide cooldown reduction, allowing Achilles to use his abilities more frequently.
Second Chance Mechanic
Shield of the Phoenix gives Achilles a shield when taking fatal damage, providing him with a second chance to turn fights around or escape.
High Utility and Mobility
Combat Dodge provides excellent mobility for chasing or escaping, while Shield of Achilles and Radiant Glory offer strong utility in fights.
Cons
No Anti-Heal
This build does not include any items that apply anti-heal effects, making it less effective against teams with strong healing capabilities.
Relatively Low Damage in Late Game
Compared to builds focused purely on offensive items, this balanced build might result in slightly lower damage output in the late game, especially against highly tanky enemies.
Vulnerability to Crowd Control
Despite Oni Hunter's Garb providing some crowd control reduction, Achilles can still be vulnerable to heavy CC chains if not positioned well or if his Purification Beads are on cooldown.
Dependency on Abilities for Sustain
The sustain from Warrior's Axe and Gladiator's Shield relies on hitting enemies with abilities. If Achilles misses his abilities, he won't benefit from the healing.
Item Power Spike Reliant
This build relies on hitting item power spikes to be effective. If Achilles falls behind in gold and can't complete his core items in time, his effectiveness in fights will be reduced.
Less Effective Against High Burst Damage
Although Shield of the Phoenix provides a shield, high burst damage can still quickly deplete Achilles' health before he has a chance to react, especially if the shield is on cooldown.
Requires Skillful Play
Effectively utilizing Combat Dodge and Shield of Achilles for both offense and defense requires good timing and positioning, making this build more suited for players who are comfortable with Achilles' mechanics.
Callouts: Don't just spam emotes and use your tools to communicate!!
Communicate enemy positions, cooldowns, and objective timings to your team.
Positioning: Always position yourself safely in team fights. Use your range and abilities to poke and burst enemies without exposing yourself to danger.
Engagements: Coordinate with your team for engagements. Use Blink Rune to surprise enemies and follow up with your high burst damage abilities.
GLHF OUT THERE!! TAKE TIME TO GO OUTSIDE OR SPEND TIME WITH THE ONES YOU LOVE!
