Vulcan is the newest god in Smite, so i just wanted to show you my build. I will keep this very short and will add more infos and chapters in the next time. Feel free to comment and rate my guide, I'll try to keep up updates.
Forge
Your passive ability just gives your turrents substain. You just need it to take care of your turrents so they dont get "one-hitted" by other players.
Backfire
Ill pick this skillshot up at lvl 3 just to increase my burstdamage a bit. The damage is equivalent to Ra's Celestial Beam, the base damage is a bit higher than ras Skillshot, but the cooldown is 5seconds longer and usually as tank you have less magical power than Ra or other carries. The skill is just amazing to finish of fleeing enemys, but you have to use it correctly, wich means when either the enemy is coming in your direction, or when your behind a fleeing god, just when you think you would kill him, because the Knock-back of your own champion will make it hard to close up to an running enemy, and as melee you have to get into close combat. But you could also use the knock-back for your advatage. Depending on your position you can get out of Ymir's Shards of Ice or Hades' Pillar of Agony. Important: it also knocks you back if you dont hit an enemy at all!!!!
Inferno Cannon
This canon gives you awesome single target damage in a cone infront of the canon, it acts like a unmovable minion in the way it targets enemys. I pick it at level 1 just because it is a great help to clear the Gold/XP and the Mana camp at lvl 1 whe you want to do it I would recommend you buying Tier 1 of Reinforced Boots and Hand of the Gods wich you will you use the Mana camp. Important Jungle Minions will atack the first person or thing that damages them when your place your Inferno Cannon before they spawn you could avoid a bit of the damage they will do, in the Late-game this turrent will be enough to get a jungle buff just place it and go somewhere else, but just place a new if you allready have to buff!
Thumper XVI
Your second turrent works a bit different than the first, because it damages every enemy in a circle, it should be clear that the damage is much lower then the one of Inferno Cannon but I max it first, because (if correctly placed) it damages all enemy Minions at once. Important Jungle Minions will atack the first person or thing that damages them when your place your Thumper XVI before they spawn you could avoid a bit of the damage they will do, in the Late-game this turrent will be enough to get a jungle buff just place it and go somewhere else, but just place a new if you allready have to buff!
Vulcanic Overdrive
Your ultimate has just 2 things it could do, 1. get you out of trouble with the Movementspeed an Protection buff 2. Make kills! Your turrents will auto target gods in range and the Inferno Canon gets a 360° area to fire, and both of your turrents get 50% increased atackspeed. It also could for kiting low life enemys through your turrents if they get to greedy and you dont want to get into cloed combat( cause of low Hp or whatever).
I will add a few infos in the Next days but I just want to say you that this build gives you around 4,3k live at lvl 20 with Max stacks on Warlocks Sash and Gauntlets of Theben
, it also gives you nice Magical power for a tank and also enough physical power to make your auto atacks hurt!
Pros
- High Hp
- Good damage for a Tank
- Possible to get stacks even when your not on the lane or clear several jungle buffs at the same time
- turrents could be used as Wards (i would not reccomend to do so but when you have them on the lane its a nice feature)
- movement ability
Cons
- Very static fighter
- low dmg if your enemy keeps killing your turrents, or just stays out of their range
- Useless ultimate if your currents are dead or out of range
- your movement ability dont damage in the same direction it moves you
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
