Welcome to my guide on Hun Batz, The Howler Monkey God!
Most of these guides are outdated and are for a totally different god! Why are you watching this, because some amateur guide writer told you to! Well relax and trust, these are the basics of Hun Batz gameplay and give you an idea where his abilities came from. Though most of videos may not apply to our current smite doesn't mean it isn't helpful. Each video gives you different perspective and styles to play our new, improved friend.

Heavenly Agility is a great active to be used in combo with Somersault and Fear No Evil inorder to initiate. Can be used to escape, or to chase with your allies. |
If your opponent has a lot of CC effects, its always helpful to have beads in order to escape freely, or to help foil a gank. If you're backdooring with Hun Batz its nice to have beads inorder to be able to ignore the 1v1 fight and just get rid of their towers. |
If your planning to jungle, this item makes your life so much easier in the early game. To have the ability to clear Jungle Camps Quickly and return to lane is really helpful. Also later if you get this active to max rank you get an awesome stun. |

When Hun Batz uses an ability, his next basic attack within the next 5 seconds will deal 25 extra physical damage (+20% of your physical power). | Hun Batz's Passive is a Physical Damage Buff compared to Fleet Footed a movement speed buff. Compared to the speed buff he may miss out experience from jungle camps or lanes, but now his new passive now allows Hun Batz's to work well with his chasing abilities. Also he now utilizes a 3-swing combo. |

Hun Batz flips through the air, crashing down at his target location, doing damage to all nearby enemies and slowing them. Damage: 50/90/130/170/210 (+70% of your physical power). Slow: 50%. Slow Duration: 2s. Cost: 60. Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s. (1 - .8) |
Somersault is one of the only leaps in the game. This leap can be used to counter Ultimate abilities(like Ymir's), Re-Position yourself through walls, and initiate or chase. Inorder to land this ability for its slow, when chasing aim further than the player because the jump has a delay in the air before landing. This ability can be tricky to use but if able to land this ability on opponents its like a mini creeping curse! |
|
Hun Batz smashes his staff to the ground in front of him, doing damage to all enemies. Damage: 85/150/215/280/345 (+100% of your physical power). Cost: 60/65/70/75/80. Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8s. |
Warning this ability can be by interrupted by stuns. In order to clear minion waves efficiently go to the side of the wave in order to be able to hit all minion all. Try to positon yourself while your in the air to affect as many enemies as you can with Overhand Smash. |
|
Hun Batz commands a monkey through the air that pounces on enemy targets, doing damage on each pounce, hitting each god only once. If the last target is an enemy god, Hun Batz teleports to that target. Damage per hit: 80/125/170/215/260 (+70% of your physical power). Max Targets: 4. Cost: 75/80/85/90/95. Cooldown: 13s. |
This ability gotten nerfed and buffed in its own ways. Now this ability can only hit an enemy once but still bounces 4 times. I wouldn't use this ability to poke in lane, because if the final hit, hits a god it teleports you to them leaving you in a bad position. So I usually only use this ability to jungle or chase down enemies near each other. |
|
Hun Batz summons a totem from the ground to ward off all evil. Any enemy caught within the radius is feared directly away from the totem and takes damage every .25s. Damage per Tick: 40/45/50/55/60 (+15% of your physical power). Lifetime: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s. Cost: 100. Cooldown: 90s. |
This fun move is ideal for preventing enemies from escaping or chasing you! It can push enemies toward you or away and their completely vulnerable because they're feared!(For the 2 seconds.)If used correctly can get opponents on low health or be used in a combination to create an awesome initiation tool. Also this ability damages more constantly unlike the old Ultimate. |
