First off, this is not a guide, just a build. The order of this build doesn't really matter, As long as there is some cooldown and ethereal staff in there fairly early, the rest is situational. I absolutely love Xing because he is so disruptive and gets away with being right in the heart of the action thanks to his passive. I generally play super aggressive with Xing for this reason. Just dive in and watch them flee in fear!
With this build my aim is to build massive health and then ethereal staff makes your damage huge as well. If you want to go more damage, opt for warlock's sash first or second item and build those stacks early! I usually throw in one magical and one physical defence item in too (ones with health to increase his damage where possible). Stone of gaia works well with his passive and mystical mail works well with my aggressive play style!
I hope you have fun with this build because I certainly do. Just get stuck in and annoy the S**t out of them!

Pros
+Very disruptive
+Great crowd control
+Big damage for a guardian
+Very hard to kill when built tanky
Cons
-Long cooldowns
-Beads shut down his ult
-Long wind-up time for his ult, gives people plenty time to run away (as can be seen in the video around 2.20)
-Slow
This build has (in my opinion) the best of everything. He is both tanky and powerful, has good CC (+gem slow) and good sustain. Adjust according to your opponents and you can't go too far wrong!
Enjoy!

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
